Not even slightly fitness related I know but looking for some male opinions here!

Why do men wait to call a girl? How many days would you normally wait after getting the number of a girl you really like?

To be honest and at risk of sounding very arrogant I know he was keen and I'm 99% he'll call but it just comes down to when.

For meeee, hmm id probably wait the 2nd or 3rd day :s
 
not a big lady's man but i assume its to keep from seeming like he really likes you....after all don't girls want guys that apparently don't care lol

I believe the accepted standard is 24-72 hours after parting.

I dont play by the rules. I am married currently but if it were different circumstances and I felt a good connection, then I would the next day. Why the hell not? Why play stupid games and waste time.

Smith and RWS you've gotta grow some balls men. If she gave you the number then she probably wants you to call, and if not then she'll tell you when you do. Its better to try and fail then to not try at all.

I called my mrs the day after we met went out for a swim and yeah it was all on like donkey kong. Theres no harm in a guy seeming keen I dont think. Most guys ring within a couple of days.
 
Look, he's playing it absolutely right. He's got you on pins and needles and licking your lips. By the time he finally calls you, you're all warmed up and ready to go ;)

Absolutely! It's the only way to live completely. I'm guessing he'll call tomorrow around lunch time, let's see how he goes. Contrary to what someone said the longer he's taking the less interested I am, if he had called me yesterday he was fresh in my mind with his good looks :cool:
 
Maybe he's not real good over the phone. I know that for me i HATE calling people, i would much rather talk...I take it it's the call after the first date your after...I agree with what Evo said.

Yeah I don't quite get teh whole waiting for a guy to call. If you like someone, just call them.
