Meathead

will do! Maybe because Norwegians are Vikings we need more muscle on someone to call them enormously muscular than others. I mean, by the standards of the rest of the world all of us up here are enormously muscular, and that just from carrying around these heavy arse viking battle axes.

You Norwegians are enormously muscular. And pretty darned sexy, too ;)

That's the argument I'll make if the results speak against my belief :p It just doesn't hold enough validity

That's the argument I'm going to use, too.

I swear most people think anybody with definition is enormously muscular. I think I'll add vascularity to the equation, too.

I'm starting my poll now :D

I was just kidding with my other posts in here before. I am not sure what this post is about as well. My guess is, its talking about possibily a person whose whole life revolve around bodybuilding and has developed an ego about themself.

I'm not offended. I make it a rule not to get upset or offended at or by people on the intraweb.

I was just wondering what the point of this thread is.

This is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek discussion of the word "meathead". Didn't someone post a thread about a Judgment-Free gym not encouraging "meathead" behaviour?

Also are you suggesting that most of the threads in the lounge "have points"? :yelrotflmao:

LoL....

Me spent all me money on supplement and cannot afford new clothes, that's why me wear shirt too small or me rip shirt so me no have shirt no more.

but, but those Chippandales...they make pretty good money, don't they? They can afford new clothes? :p

Yes, the Chippendale dancers make decent coin, but not as much as exotic male dancers, mostly because there are so many men who want to be Chippendale dancers, they can afford to not pay them as much. I have known many a male dancer in my time. Most of them do it for the money. They have to smell good, look good, and be very nice all the time. Some male dancers have accumulated enough money to retire by the time they are in their early 30s. If male dancers are willing to do the gay circuit, they can easily pull in $25,000-$35,000/month.

I was a topless dancer in Las Vegas for a couple of years. The exotic male dancers made about the same coin as we did. At the time, it was around $8,000/month. The Chippendale dancers didn't make nearly that much. As for the showgirl thing, all I will say is that the headgear weighs a ton. That's probably how I got such a thick freaking neck. And it's mindless. And very, very boring.

I have dated a few male dancers. When I lived in Las Vegas, I dated an exotic dancer. He was straight, family-oriented, and had extremely good morals. Just because a guy decides to take his clothes off doesn't mean he's cheap or stupid. So I can honestly say he wasn't a meathead :)

Nah I think this thread is just tongue-in-cheek. Just having a little laugh at the label "meathead"; I'm sure there are plenty of guys here that are capable of talking about other topics other than working out....right? *no crickets chirping in the background please* :D

wow...those headgears you wore as a dancer must have been a killer!!

Yeah. I swear some of them weighed 25 pounds. Nothing was lightweight in the olden days :D

Learning to do the makeup was cool, though ;)

Wow.. Thank you for the explanation btw chippandales vs exotic dancers ILM... Btw, $8,000 back then is about how much now. :)

And Alice... I think ILM explained it all.... Chipandale dancers are still poor so they cannot afford shirts yet... please donate to them so they will not be cold this winter.

tic, I'm poor too...if i donate my shirts, it would be too small on them (provided they are indeed muscular), it would rip and be unserviceable unless they're going for this shirt look:

(newbie to this so don't know if the attachment came through)..

I'll estimate that $8,000 then would be close to pulling in $20,000/month now. That job paid off all my debts: my University student loan (which was HUGE), coaching and training fees that I owed, etc. etc. etc. and got me back on my feet. The conditions weren't great, but it was two years I'd never give back. I actually liked being a dancer.

Chippendale dancers nowadays make about $60,000/yr. Not that great considering what they're doing. But I'm also assuming that figure does not include the tips they receive, because who claims tips? I never did ...

alice, I would do all the make up FIRST; then get in my costume, and at the end we would all help each other with the headdresses. But if you needed touch ups with your makeup, you would do it with the headdress on. I don't know if they have makeup artists nowadays. We were pretty much on our own. We'd glue sequins, glitter, false eyelashes, all kinds of stuff to our bodies. It was a lot of fun :)

Applying makeup while donning headgear? If so, that takes talent. I wish I can dance..it's such a good alternative form of exercise..

It's never too late to learn how to dance, alice!

You can make dance as strenuous as you want it to be. What you put into it is what you will get out of it ;)

Just pick something you think you'd like and go with it! You don't have to be the best dancer in the world. All that matters is that you're having fun and enjoying yourself :)

I'm glad u thought it was funny. I figured you'd be on the next jet this way to kick my arse!
