me drinks beers is nite

Pure fun doesn't ever mix with work, except when we are at conferences and whatnot... or having a company picnic or party

wifes is at one of those stupid things you ladies have where you bring in some stupid lady and sell lady things, like stupid kitchen things.... ya know what i mean?

cats are laying on my finished pile of work

my irish ancestory tells me that anything mixed with hard alcohol just rusts the pipes so gotta drink it straight :D

I strictly observe David Carroll's rule of two. Drinks must be limited to two ingredients, one of which is ice.

Good Whiskey should never touch water in any form however.

I avoid stupid lady shit like that as much as possible... unless it's a sex toy party :)

Good kitties :) give them some beer -cats like beer :)

Where in CT are you David?

I'll be heading up there for the thanksgiving holiday.

I ask like it matters, since I'm not too sure where exactly I'm going. I think near the University of CT.

I'm on the Shoreline, right near New Haven. My son goes to Eastern, in Willimantic, right near Storrs (Where UConn is).

What brings you there?

DC

Oh, I just found out... we're going to Ledyard... I think that's how it's spelled

Wife's sister lives there.

Last time I was up there we went to Block Island, RI. That place is great!

Yeah, I took the train from Boston to New Haven a couple of weeks ago. It runs right up the Shoreline. It was beautiful, a much different perspective than the Post Road or 95

DC

Ledyard!

That's where my Ex and kids live! Also the home of the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino.

And right near Electric Boat, the makers of Nuclear Subs.

Small World!

I used to go to Block Island a lot when I was single between litters. It's a fun place. I've sailed there with friends too. I'd love to spend more time there.

Great Bars!

Awesome bars. We're actually talking about spending a few days there next year with some friends. It's just a beautiful place. Last time I was there we rented scooters and drove around every inch of the island that has roads.... then went bar hopping.

Deb and I have a good friend who got married on the Island a couple of years ago, rented a huge Inn, all 50 rooms and put us up for the weekend. Must have cost a fortune. What a good time...

They're already divorced, hell, it was only their first marriage anyway, Lol.

Was it that in right outside the center of town overlooking the water... had white rocking chairs out in the yard and a bar/grill outside on teh first floor?

That's the one! Have you been there?

I chilled out for a while in one of those awesome chairs and drank some booze. I did not stay there.... we were only there for the day. I also ate at that bar/grill. But I think that's where we'll stay when we go.... it's the perfect location.

It is a beautiful spot. We were there the very end of the season, we asked about adding some days on to the weekend but they were closing for Winter the next day.

Well, 5:00am comes early and I am out of Whiskey. Have a good night!

David
