I'm having a good day - too much food at lunch, well, too must dessert... but it might be okay b/c I don't have enough time to cook much for dinner tonight.

Oh My :( ...today was bad.... :( ........We went shopping.....but after that Andreas said he really wanted chinese.....So went there....I didnt eat too much....but what I did eat..I could have made better choices... :eek: .
I dont know what is up my butt. :confused: .but I better snap out of it.........I was so into this challange.....but for some reason...I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of things.
I am going to try and get a job at home depot....this staying at home is driving me crazy.....and making me lazy!!!!
 
Don't get discouraged KC we all have our ups and downs. I think getting something to get you out of the house is a wonderful idea. Keep your chin up we all know you can do it, we're going to kick some newbies butts!!!

it's okay babe - we all have our rough times. Are you gonna get out there and exercise today?!

It might help if you posted every day what you are eating... I know I always think twice if I know everyone is going to look at it - it might help?
 
Im about to go walk and do the gym...I am dressed and ready...just waiting for Mr. Cruz to get out of the shower....I have done my warm up and stretches...but I still feel a little stiff....
I just might start posting what I eat.....I dont do it out of laziness...and the fact that I have to write it all down in my weight watchers journal.
This morning I had 1 cup of o.j. and a blueberry bagel.....took my suppliments...and am now starting my h2o.
If I go today saturday and sunday I still get 3 work outs....
What kind of food should I eat to gain more energy?...I feel so lethargic. I know once I get my heart pumping with the exercise I will feel better..but it just feels like I want to crawl in a cave and hibernate....lol
 
I totally know what you mean... I have been so exhausted lately... maybe it is just that time of the year? I don't know...

as long as you are writing it down somewhere, that's good =) Have fun working out!!!
 
I'm back from the gym and walking!!!!!....It is so amazing how much alert I am after I do all that!!!...When I first started walking this morning...my calves hurt so bad....I was just dragging myself. Once I got to the gym...I worked my butt off to where the sweat was stinging my eyes!!!...( I kept my headphones on instead of listening to their music....mine is LOUDER and much faster!!!)....I think that really helped me with my intensity!!!...I have already drank 24 oz of water...and am on my second bottle now.....Hope you two are doing good!!!!

I am still feeling the high from going to the gym and the walk. For dinner I had a thin piece of steak, less than a cup of beef rice...and 1/2 cup of mixed veggies....oh and 2 slices of whole grain bread... I put it all on a salad plate to make it look like alot...lol.....and I am sooo full right now!!!

Run for fun...so what all did you binge on?...did you let yourself get too hungry?.....Thats what I end up doing if I dont eat....especially breakfast!!!!
 
mmm... breakfast is important! I used to skip breakfast on friday mornings, b/c we have bagels and krispy kreme's and coffee at school... but I realized that if I waited until 10 to eat all that stuff - I would eat ALL of that stuff!!! so now i have breakfast, bring an apple with me, and at the most I have half a bagel =)
 
The first thing I want to do when I wake up in the morning is eat!!!!!!
I have always been like that. Breakfast is my favorite meal.....it sets you for the rest of the day.
I got 72 oz of water in today. Other beverages was o.j., f.f. choc.milk, 1 diet pepsi, and a glass of green tea.......I feel my bloatfullness..( is that even a word?..lol)...seems to be going away.....
Today on my walk back home...i got a little bit of sun on my face...plus maybe some wind chap....So I am real rosey..lol.....Walking outdoors and feeling that sunshine is so up lifting........
Amomono....that breakfast at school.....what are they trying to do???..lol...
 
Yeah, I did let myself get too hungry but it wasn't completely my fault, but still partly.

I ate before school, but we have lunch so early (10:15). Well I ate then, and school gets out at 2:30. Usually thats not that bad (only 4 hours), but I forgot that I had a doctors appointment after school and I didn't end up getting home til about 4. By then I was starving (6 hours)

Well, I haven't planned it out for today, but I know what breakfast and lunch are going to be, then I'm goign to the store.

Breakfast:
2 hard boiled eggs (180)

Lunch: (12 pm) (300)
Sandwich 120
100 calorie pack 100
cheese stick 80
 
hehehe I KNOW! at least it is just on Fridays... it is our community coffee hour - and you just HAVE to be there =)

I'm off to a good start today... i'm going on a 1.5 hour hike with some people from church this morning.. .and it is so nice here that I can wear my hiking sandles!!!! I'll let you know how it goes =)
 
Torri...maybe you should always carry something like crackers..bag of dried fruit..chex mix with you..something small...but that will help you in case something like that happens.....even some pretzels in those half sized zip lock bags.....

Katie....A hike ....how fun is that!!!!!...I want to go!!!!...When you do something like that with a group of friends...it doesnt feel like exercising..but it is. Those are the best kind!!!.....The gym closes at noon today....so I am about to go...Tomorow its closed..so I will just do my walk and maybe some toning stretches with my exercise band. I wish I had a work out tape....
 
Looks to me like you are all doing great. Even if you have a bad moment, you are recognizing the problem and addressing it. That's fantastic. Keep up the hard work. Kim, you still having problems with your feet? Wish I had some other advice for you. The only thing I can suggest is change your socks throughout the day. One thing I read once suggested changing them every 3 to 4 hours. Don't know if that will help, but it's a thought.

I just got home form working out.....I am so hot right now!!!....I kept having to use some of my water to splash on my face and arms to help cool me down on my way home.
As for my feet...I had to but a bandaid on the bottem of my foot on the padding below my big toe. I trie to concentrate on how I was walking. I think instead of putting more weight on my heel...I am putting the majority of pressure on the soft padding of my feet....pushing off on that which is causing the friction. I think I walk incorrectly because of my weight....
For breakfast I made pancakes and cinnamon toast. I had 2 small thin pancakes....no syrup..just a little of smart balance...I did not have cinnamon..just plain..and some o.j. and a cup of coffee. However I could not eat my second pancake..I WAS FULL!!!!
So I put it in the frige....which is a good thing because when I got home I was soo hungry.
Also one of the girls was giving out sample health bars....it was wonderful..but the cost was 9 for 21.00 dollars....Wht does it cost so much money to eat healthier..but you can go buy 12 little debbie snack cakes for 99cents???.....It drives me crazy!!!
 
LOL!!! good point on the health snacks costing so much and the little debbies being so cheap =) i think those health bars are a ripoff... not that they don't work sometimes, but they are SO expensive... A friend told me this week that just eating a few slices of apple with some peanut butter for a workout is just as good as health bars...

My mom had a bunch of health bars lying around - she always starts diets and routines and can't stick with it... so she let me have them and I have about 6 left now... but i'm definately going to try the apple w/ pb after those are gone...

the hike was SO beautiful!!! the leaves turned colors here really late, and so while normally they would have all been off the trees - it was this gorgeous array of colors. we went hiking at a park here in Nashville - and while it seems like a mountain to me (coming from Iowa and all) I think that it's just some really hilly land... we went up and down and up and down, and my butt and calves hurt!!!! It was a great way to get in my exercise for the day!!! although if I have time, I might also head to the gym and get some weight lifting in...
