Lose my belly

It's ok running for 20 minutes (no stoppages at all) with two or three 30 seconds sprints, I am burning fat that way right? because this is what I have been doing and I could see great results...but its not the most efficient, is that what you guys are saying?

Also when you run and lose fat or calories will it fully show up at the weight scale?
 
I am in the same postion. My belly needs to go. Docter said that you need a cardio of 30 minutes to see a change in body. But i lost a couple pounds just doing a mile a day for less than 20 minutes
 
Well I think its time for me to up it a little bit, I do 20 minutes about 5 days a week, I think I will up it to 30 minutes since everybody is saying I will lose more fat that way.
