Loosing 80/100 Pounds Slowly

Well everybody keeps telling me i look taller and much slimmer and that i lost allot of weight, to be honest i dont see it .. lol .. as mentioned i kinda feel it in my clothes..

Well my heviest was 315lbs and this was in March 07...

Started my weight loss in December and just did my first weigh in as i just bought a scale :sifone:

Past = 315lbs, 50Waist
Present = 280.4lbs 46Waist

So i have lost 34plbs From Dec to Jan.....

My aim now is to weigh in and update this post weekly. i have a year to do this so bare with me...

lol .. thanks .. but i just gained 1.4lbs :waving:

Just had dinner and checked .. guess the scale is more accurate then i imagined :reddevil:
 
ell yeah you ate 1.4lb worth of food - thats to be expected.
Going without meat is fine, just make sure you keep up on the protien in other forms so you dont end up loosing muscle mass and keep the fat.
Good non-meat protien can be obtained from dairy and nuts (I like low fat sugar free yogurts myself, as well as milk on breaky and coffee). Dont forget your multi to cover the iron thing - nothing worse than falling over in a faint whilst doing shopping or nearly crashing the car :/
 
Ive implemented some amount of meat ... only chicken thou . . . and only in small amounts like once per week ...

I must say i was at 274.4 lastnight, but eat and weigh this morning and got the 275...

Is 5 Lbs per week safe ? im not starving and im doing allot of exersize (I supervise a Construction Site) so for one day i prolly walk 25miles in totoal :svengo: lots of stairs :gnorsi:
 
great job on your weight loss so far! as long as you arent losing 5 pounds every week i don't think you should worry...its recommended to lose .5-3lbs a week but as long as you are getting the nutrition you need daily(counting calories) and working out there should be no problems! Kepp up the great work :)
 
I'm with paydirt. Don't just give up meat and not replace it. If you plan to go the veg*n route, read a lot about it. You need to make sure you get all of the nutrition, such as B12 which is only in meat. You can get B12 from other sources such as nutritional yeast and sub lingal B12. Without B12 you can cause serious nerve damage.

I do think you need to up the fruits and veggies and stay away from the refined white flour in the muffins.

Walking does work, so keep at it. Maybe add more each day.
 
You want me to walk more .. lol .. i think im just getting use to all the walking now .. im a wreck in the nights .. lots of muscle burn..

as i mentioned above .. meat is still in my diet. but like 90% less than what i use to intake .. i will definately add some more fruits and veggies thou
 
what ticks me off now is that the least little thing i eat i feel overfull :toetap05:
 
i did some adjustments to my diet and saw less in losing, so basically i will have to readjust again ...

no eating after 8pm .. and no less meat :piggy:
 
Hit 270 last night .. but weighed this morning after breakfast lol

FEB 03, 2008 = 275.2 Lbs
FEB 17, 2008 = 271.8 Lbs

Im definately readjusting back my diet, not so happy with the slower weightloss ...

Good luck with the weight loss. Just remember starving yourself won't work. Sure you will lose it but I can almost guarentee it will all come back plus some. I
