Good morning, team!

Here I am, Sunday morning, cup of coffee, beginning of our challenge.
My name is Julie, I am 31 years old female, living in the UK but originally from Eastern Europe. I have once lost quite a lot of weight but put some of it back on. I need to trim down once again. Also, I work long hours a very physical type of job (care assistant) so it's going to be difficult to fit in the exercises as I am often dead tired but I won't let this stopping me. Also, I do not really want to switch my diet to completely healthy low calory stuff - I do believe in eating delicious food but in small quantities.

I hope this challenge will be a big success for our team and each of us individually!

Hey Fluffyplum (and all other team members) Team C is where its at! Well, i'm amsterdam, though from Canada. Im an 18 year old girljust sipping a cup of green tea, and Im really hyped up about this challenge! Its summer, and I am really motivated to lose 15-20 lbs. Ive been going to the gym 4-5 times a week (in my third week) and yea, im rooting for team C, and B, and A.
I eat well balanced meals, but with a middle estern diet, it can be hard, since its mostly made up of white rice + various stews. I never say no to sweets, but I try to eat it with moderation. Im here to work hard, and I know that this challenge will be a perfect motivator!

Well done for posting Amstedam. I hope the others join in as well soon.

My food today:

Breakfast: missed it

Snack: 1 apple

Lunch: portion of creamy chicken with veg + some plain rice
slice of lemon cheesecake with small portion of single cream (I
promise it was just a bit)

Snack: 2 rich tea biscuits with my afternoon tea

Dinner: one avarage size slice pizza+bowl of salad (cuc, tom, lettuce)
1 yogurt

I probably will have some more teas by the end of the day (I drink teas with milk and no sugar, coffee black and no sugar as well).

My exercises:

Challenge exercise: 11 min 18 sec bootcamp day one
Walking: 60 min (it was even more but I will count only 60 min)

Breakfast: 1 butter croisant with jam
Snack: 1 banana
Lunch: an avarage size slice of pizza with 2 teaspons of guacamole
side salad: 1/2 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, 2 teaspoons mayo and small piece of feta cheese
small piece of lemon cheesecake with spot of single cream
Snack: 1 apple
1 small chocolate I was given (maybe only 20 grams)

Dinner: 1 plate chicken curry (home made) well, from a jar but the chicken and the rice are cooked at home
4 rings of corn crackers
1 yogurt


Exercise:

Challenge exercise - bootcamp day 2 - 9 min 33 sec
Walking: 60 min

Walking alone is enough to cover my 100 min exersice but I still need to do the bootcamp every day!

Did 40 minutes cardio today at gym + (30 minutes yesterday)
food log for the day:

B: 1 egg+ 1/2 whole wheat bagel + 2 strwberries + 15 raspberries (232)
L:Chicken sala (300)
S: 3 dates (100) + 1 nectarine (45)
S: 1/4 cup raisins (130) + 1 cup grapes& 8 cherries (142)
D: Ground beef + 1/2 whole wheat pita (330) + salad (50)
Dessert: 125 ml jello (10) + bites of a palmier (50)

Total: 1379
 
Hello guys!

Tough day - working 14.5 hours. I woke up early and tomorrow another 14.5 h working day.

My food:

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with milk and little honey
Snack: none, didn't have time
Lunch: chicken curry with rice and apple crumble with cream (that was on the menu in the care home I work)
Snack: 2 rich tea biscuits
Dinner: Ravioli with veggies and cheese, homecooked by my housmate
1 yogurt

Challenge exercise: Bootcamp day 3: 6 min 35 sec.

I am off to bed, I will be dead tomorrow!!
 
Yesterday's consumption:
* Thai stir fry - sweet chili sauce, rice, bean sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, peas, yellow peppers
* Peanut butter soy ice cream

Today's consumption:
* Homemade pizza - pita shell, white sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, potato, green onions, tofu, goats cheese

Walked for 30 minutes yesterday. Walked for 30 minutes today.

Looks like everyone else is doing well! good job so far guys.

Hit the gym today, 55 minutes of cardio!! My 100 min bonus is complete for the week, but I'm vowing to keep up the exercise for the next 4 days!

Food wise, going pretty well today, wil update later on!
 
Quick update.

Challenge exercise - 6 min 45 sec bootcamp day 4.

Food:
Breakfast: 2 toasts with margarine and jam
Snack: 1 apple
Lunch: roast dinner (beef, mash potato, roast potato, yorkshire pudding, carrots. cabbage), NO pudding
Snack: No time
Dinner: came late, ate 2 sandwishes wirh ham and mustard and a banana with very little cream

I m knackered.
 
Hi peeps,

Douknowjello, no worries at all about the exercises, we have to take things in our own stride. For insrance I know I don't do very well foodwise. I don't eat enough healthy stuff, my intake is usually high calorie one but as a matter of fact sticking to 3 main meals and 2 small snacks is a great achievement for me because I am a bad binge eater. That's my main problem with food.

So my update:

Food:
Beakfast: bowl od musli with milk and some honey
Snack: 1 apple
Lunch: 1 avarage size slice pizza + green salad, no sweet for afters
Snack: 2 digestive buscuits
Dinner: 2 tandoory indian chicken wings, 1 slice of bread, for sweet I only have some jam so i put it on corn crackers + some margarine.

Challenge exersice - boot camp day 5 - 9 min 43 sec

I have been off today but met my relatives in London and we went to visit British Museum where we spent all day so my eating was affected.

Food:
Breakfast: a bowl of choco cornlakes with milk
Snack: 1 apple
Lunch: None :-(
Snack: 1 small bag of crisps
Dinner: one avarage slice of pizza, 2 spoons guacamole, salad + piece of feta cheese, 1 pot of raspberry jelly

Challenge Exersice:

So neither, lol. Today is weigh in day. Course good thing I went back and reread because I missed a whole section of instructions too, the ones here following...I wondered why everyone was posting their food in the thread! Well no worries, I'll just go to my fitday logs and grab it :) This is going to be a pain in the butt though, lol.

Points will be based on exercise, weight loss and bonus challenges. However, you must report what you ate (good or bad) on a daily basis in your team thread. ( If you can’t post every day you must keep track of what you ate and do a mass update when you next post in the team thread) The idea behind this is to keep in contact with other team members and watch out for each other by updating regularly.

I can make the 6 miles run/jog/elliptical, but I dont think it should just be one of us, I think we shoud all do it :)

I know 6 miles is a lot, but it can be done just by walking!!! thats like a 20 minute walk everyday!!!

We came first, amazing stuff!

Food today:
Breakfast: a bowl of musli with milk and some honey
Snack: 1 pear
Lunch: 2 big frankfurters, 1 slice of bread, big green salad, sponge lemon cake
Snack: 3 rich tea biscuits
Dinner: Portion of chicken curry with rice, yogurt

Exercise: bootcamp day 1

I am glad and thankful Amsterdam will do our challenge.
 
Hey guys!

Challenge completed!!! 4 miles on the elliptical(level 10) and 2 miles intervals (4.0 and 7.0) on treadmill (took about 58 minutes)!

Sorry guys, I have a disability from a car accident and some other health issues, all aggravated by 350lbs weighing down on my 5ft tall frame. So as I said before, it's not a lack of motivation. I really am not able to do that much yet and my doctor me not to push it till I get some of this weight off or I could hurt myself. But really glad somebody was able to get it done :) Thanks Amsterdam


Sorry, I had absolutely no idea, I hope you know that I wasn't implying anything about lack of motivation though :(
