To all females. When I get down to the right weight I wanto to be I am considering removing my chest hair. I would like to know your opinions on this matter to help me decide. Chest Hair On or Off (OUCH  )

unless you're an olympic swimmer -absence of chest hair is just a little too teenage boyish..

back hair -not so hot - along with excess nose hair and ear hair.
chest hair - hot - as long as it's propery manscaped.

The current style seems to be hairless chests, so unless you're over the age of 40 I would vote to take it off. Between 40 and 50, use your judgment...after that...do whatever you or your (future?) lady wants. :)

My Lady (Wife) would like to see it gone. But I think I'll wait a little longer and see how I feel. Thanks for the comments.

how are you planning on getting rid of it?

Wax? long lasting but a little painful
Electrolysis - forever gone minor pain.
nair - gone for a few days -but stinky
Shaving? - stubble on the face -hot -stubble on the chest and back -Not hot.. :D

I vote for

Get creative!

and that's probably a guy with a mullet sitting next to the hairy beast right :)

havent seen nascar fun since i escaped new hampshire :)

unless you look like a gorilla, I say keep the hair. It's a maintenance nightmare. Just think of your face. I had a friend who would get his shaved, years ago. It itches as it grows back in. If it's really crazy, then maybe just trim it a bit.

Some guys I find really attractive who don't have the chest hair - you know the ones with the toned but not buff bodies. But being realistic.....unless it's like popping out of your shirt I'd just leave it.

BUT

if you do decide to do away with it your gonna want to either get it hot waxed or sugar waxed(this is safer and more gentle) and it's gonna hurt like crazy!

I say to get rid of the back hair and manicure your chest hair. Keep it trim and soften it up a bit with balsam. That's what my husband does and I love it; I would not be happy if my husband waxed his chest hair, at all. Neither would he, though, he cringes when I wax my legs ;)

Good luck.

i'd say it depends on how dark it is and how much time you want to put into grooming it. if it's dark, wax it, that way you don't have to shave every day. if it's lighter, you could get away with it, just keep it trimmed down to about 1/2 an inch or so. :D
