Just enlisted in the Air Force

Aw **** I'm dumb

That's right, he can't be an officer, huh?

6 year contract. I can't wait! They are paying for 100% of my college. Basic Military Training is in the summer in San Antonio, Texas for 8 1/2 weeks. I can't wait to get out of my house and move on with life you know. I'm pretty excited and nervous at the same time. Can't wait to serve my country ;)

Hey, I'm in the branch. If you have some general questions, just hit me up. Good luck and BMT will go by sooner than you think!

We've got those armored igloos, too. Must have been a sale on them or something.

We throw ice balls. Canadians aren't known for their axe skills. But we are known for our sniper skills :D

So we have a sniper regiment :p

ohhhh i know a canadian who's in the army infantry, might be sniper, i think...*sigh* memories..

Just remember that until you raise your right hand, you're not committed to anything.

Also, did you take the ASVAB? If not how are you even picking jobs?

I took the ASVAB (got 74 overall; scored really high on general science and math skills) and got my M.A.G.E Scores at the recruiting office and next week we are gonna look over what I'm qualified for- I'm doing mostly research on the "general" job fields. Looking for something with Computers, website development, computer science, etc.

Congrats man...I've been in for nearly 7 years now. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Sometimes the recruiters lie to you. ;)

well I did plenty of research before I initially met my recruiter. I just had my first DEP meeting and we just drilled and stuff.

I can't wait to get moving on with life just want high school to end already.

Yeah my recruiter told me that as well. I would rather just not have the TI's have any reason to see me outta place or something.
If the TI doesn't know your name then you're doing good. Mine didn't know I was in his flight into my fifth week of training.

Congrats and thanks

One of my sons is career Air Force, now stationed in Omaha and a Captain, he's halfway to retirement.... He might retire before his old man!

Thanks so much for serving!!!!!
