Christina~don't get down on yourself, girl. You are such a terrific person. You are always in here giving everyone such positive feedback and you sound like such a fun chicky!! You will find a job soon, I'm sure. It took me 3 months everyday and interview after interview...for some time I thought it was hopeless. But then (this might sound silly) but I started to pray and pray hard and I got a job. I'm catholic, not practicing though. Actually, sometimes (I get in these moods) I don't believe in anything. I just can't understand that if there was a "God" why does all this bad stuff happen to people who don't deserve it. I don't know what I believe, so I'm not one to tell you, plus I hope your not offended about me talking about this.
Hey don't worry about not being able to go to Curves...you do tae bo and pilates, that is great. You are getting a great workout girl!!!:D Plus on top of all that you have a child to take care of and you're a housewife...those two things are a job in its self. Heck they are even harder to do then most jobs out there.
Have you ever went to a staffing/temp agency? That might work for you cause you can basically tell them when and how long you want to work. Plus they ususally pay well and you get a variety of work to do. It might be good if you have to be home a certain time for your child or to start dinner or whatever.
Everything will work out for you, trust me.

What I ate yesterday 11/16:

B- 3/4c. cheerios
1/2c. skim milk
1/2 grapefruit
S- NOTHING
L- Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly Sandwich on White (Yummy):)
S- About 10 Chips and salsa
D- Chinese Food:eek: Small Sweet and Sour Chicken and Fried Rice :eek:
***Lots of Water...1 Diet Dr. Pepper***
Plus went to Curves.

I'm catholic too... so not practicing... Sometimes I want to.. but I just dont know... My Aunt's got me all messed up with her preaching Jehovahs Witness stuff to me... BLAH..... Phewy..... You right about "Why does God Let it happen".... She's got a whole preaching on that too... lol
I was thinking a staffing agency may be my next stop... We'll see....

I'm comming down there tomorrow... maybe we can meet up somewhere...
I'm actually gonna be in Romeoville... I might drive out and visit someone in Chicago Ridge... so Maybe we can meet at the Mall... It has a new name now doesnt it... Not Chicago Ridge Mall anymore?
I'm not sure on what time we'll be driving down... it all depends on that...
 
Well I am soo happy you joined curves!!!!!.....I am a member also!!!! I lost 40 lbs going there,,( of course and eating healthy).....I am so excited that you got a job ..and so jelaous you live so close to my sister Tina...LOL..
But ya should meet up!!!...God Knows Tina needs a buddy!!!!..LOl

Hi Everyone...I'm back...I hope!!!

Thank you so much from everyone who cared or even noticed I wasn't around and to answer your questions...Yes I feel better!

I still have another 1 1/2 weeks or so before I can start exercising again (per Dr. instructions). I went back to work this past Tuesday, luckly I work at a sit down job. Christmas is going to suck this year cause I just started this job and didn't get paid for the time I was not there.

I still have a very low appetite. I'm sure do to the strep throat and all. I guess it's good cause I'm not eating as much and not exercising right now.

It is cold as heck here in Illinois this week and today we had our first heavy snow fall (at least in my part of IL). It is so pretty.

My friend from work (Yes I actually made a human friend, 1st one since I moved here) is coming over today to help me put up our X-mas tree. My sister didn't want to do it and her boyfriend is a waste of space...lol. So she will be here soon and help me decorate for X-mas.

Well hope everyone is doing well and good luck to everyone who is doing the new challenges this time!!!

I am so glad to hear you are back and feeling better.
It is soooo super cold isnt it?
We got a ton of snow up here so I know you, in the south suburbs, got a few more inches than me!
I hope you stay safe and warm babe and have fun putting up your tree!!!!

Jessica~ I know you got a tom of snow cause we got a bit too. We got about 6 inches I think... But I know you may have up to 9 or 10 where you are. Hope youre safe hun. I'm thinking about cha....
Did you see the plane crash on tv? it's so sad that the little boy had to die. He was the same age as Allyson... News makes me sad.... There's never anything good on tv.
I called my mom and Dad to see how they were. They said there were cars in ditches everywhere. So what did they decide to do? Go driving around.... LMAO They are so crazy! They love action though. And they wanted to take the dogs to a big field to let them run in the snow. I told them if they get stuck just throw a rope around Boomer (their big yellow lab) and have him pull you out. LOL I havnt talked to them since so hopefully they didnt get stuck anywhere.

Hey sweetie! Just stopping by to check on you! I'm glad your feeling better! How much snow did you get? We havent' seen a heavy snow yet but we had an inch of snow last night and alot of ice and sleet! Hope you have a great weekend!

Hey everyone, I'm back....Been super busy. Just moved into a new apartment here this past weekend in IL and before that I was back in TN dealing with my Dad's death. He passed away on 12/16 and I was down there for awhile plus on top of all that I was still recovering from appendix surgery. But now it's 2006 time to start over even if Jan is already almost over....Wow time flys.

Well I will be posting from time to time....Hope everyone is doing well and hope you all had a happy holiday.
