1 and a half grilled sausages 150 + 75
1 slice ham 35 cals
salad 20 cals

subtotal - 535 cals


mid-afternoon
2 x sandwiches same as above 212x2 = 424
1 and a half sausages 225 cals
glass of water

subtotal 649

subtatl so far = 444 + 535 + 649 = 1628
This leaves me 532 cals left for the rest of today...

off to gym later. woohoo

I have just weighed myself... today is one full week.....

Last week I weighed 212 pounds (15 stone 2 lb).

Today I weigh 201 pounds (14 stone 5 pounds)

I HAVE LOST 11 POUNDS!!!!! :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

Most of this was probably fluid from the beer of last week, but Im overjoyed at 11 pounds!

I know it will slow down, but I'm chuffed to bits!!!

Time to go run 20 miles! lol

There's nothin' at all wrong with grinning like an idiot, as long as you still feel that way when you "gain 4 lbs" for no apparent reason. And it will happen often. ;)

OK... got back from my first proper gym session..
The guy has worked out a plan for me to target stomach, chest and back, as these are my fattest areas :drooling1:

Warmup rowing for 2000 meters
stretches
seated row(back) 34 sets of 30kg 12-15 reps
then chest press(chest) 3 sets of 30kg 12-15reps
then abdominal machine 3 sets of 35kg 12-15reps
then treadmill for 20 minutes on fairly high intensity effort, aerobic setting
then lat pulldown(back) 3 sets of 50kg 12-15 reps
then peck deck(chest) 3 sets of 25kg's 12-15reps
then crunches 5 sets of 15 reps
then to warm down, bike for 5 minutes medium intensity effort
then stretching again

Thats me... Im following this for 2 months, and in 2 months I can then advance, but for a guy whos not been to the gym for 18 years Im happy...
 
pre-workout: 1.5 chunks of choc @ 30cals/chunk for energy - 45 cals
1 banana 105 cals
1/2 slice ham 15 cals

post-workout
soup 226 cals
2 slices wholemeal bread 200 cals

total 1628 + 165 + 591 = 2384
224 cals over my 20% target.
My BMR is 2700, so I still cut out 316 cals or 11% of my BMR.
Considering the 30 minutes of cardio I ended up doing today Im happy.

I will sharpen my fopcus more and more as I start to meet my real body, as pointed out a few days ago to me.
Im still cutting my calories, eating MUCH healthier, cut out 99% of the crap, and beer, and am exercising and doing gym work.
I call that a transformation.

Now I gotta keep it up.

The feeling when I came out of the gym was great! so relaxed and clear headed...

I weighed in earlier today and lost 10 pounds(I previously said 11 pounds, so the scales went up when I put my clothes on :))

All IM concentrating on for 2 months is stomach, back and chest.
OK measurements(eeek!) not nice.. but a good tracker for me.. and we are guessing at the correct place to take measurements.

waist, taken where the crease forms on my side as I bend sideways: 101 cm (40 and 2/8 inches)

chest, across the nipple line 111cm (or 44 inches)

I wont track any more yet, seems little point for 2 months until; I start traiing more body parts, and these 2 areas are the ones Im keen to see fat loss while maintain muscle.
