IHO the iPod post- Headphones for running?

I use the default last generation ipod video headphones and I've never had a problem :)

Headphones and sweat

How do you keep your headphones dry?

I bought recently a pair of somewhat expensive noise canceling headphones, and I don't want to ruin them with my sweat - and I sweat a lot when I am running!
Any advice? Any particular brand/type of headband?

I HATE those ipod ear bud style of headphones. They stay in one of my ears but not in the other. I can't use them for anything--not even just for walking.

The best all-around headphones that I've ever used are . They're Sony/sports, foldable/waterproof. The cord is longer and the sound is great; they stay put and there aren't ear covers that get soggy with sweat.

My only complaint is that for me, one set only lasts for about 6 months (using them each day for about 2 hours). I've had three sets now. Six months is not a whole lot of time for one set, but the product is great in every other respect, so I don't mind buying them twice a year. I get them at Best Buy for something like $20. I need a pair right now because mine just went fuzzy/static-y yesterday.

I don't fold these headphones even though they're foldable. And I don't wind the cord around the headband part. I just store them loosely in my gym bag. Still, they tend to go bad after 5 or 6 months (but like I said, 2 hours a day for 5-6 months for great sound and convenience is worth it).
