Heck yeah, that's good cardio! I jog/walked this evening. Hopefully i can walk tomorrow. ;)

Pictures almost don't do justice of how much snow was there. And to think it was +2C and green Sunday evening, and by the next day it was a blizzard and like -27 with the wind.

Anyways, this morning I was 138.5...up .5 from yesterday.

Looks like you're doing really well with the exercises!

I will NOT be doing any today. Leaving work early to start training and my new job. My shoulders/back still sore for the shoveling and I don't want to make it worse since I'm not sure how strenuous it will be today, possibly the same for tomorrow but will try on Saturday to perhaps fit 2 workouts in to make it up or extra ones next week. Or perhaps tomorrow I will do a small workout earlier, we will see.
 
5 workouts for week 2! That helps make up for the 2 workouts I had week 1. Next week has 3 days of intense field work already scheduled in. I won't be around computer or scale much next week, but I will catch up next weekend. have a good week everyone!

My weight has gone up this week despite my efforts in diet and exercise. It will come around soon enough.
 
I'm thinking I need to add my second job stuff depending on the shifts. Includes a lot of walking and lifting and hopefully soon my muscles will be strong enough to do that AND a workout earlier in the day, but I don't want to risk it just yet.

Congrats on the workouts Q! You are doing great :) Sucks about the weight gain but don't worry about it too much, it will come off. Sounds like a good and busy week ahead for you!
 
Grrrr... I was doing soooo good this month. This week has been terrible, I haven't done anything yet. I am hoping, really, really hoping that I can get there tonight.

We have been moving the office at work, and combine that with long hours and snow, I haven't gotten my behind in yet!
 
You are doing better than me! The only "workouts" I'm getting are at my evening job. It's quite sad :( I really need to get going on some stuff during the day at work. Cardio of sorts and core workout since I use my legs/arms/hands enough at my evening job LOL. Some of those boxes are freakin heavy! But it's good! And it helps me not snack on bad foods cuz I don't have time. Except that Bentall (management company for my office building) brought a box of Purdy's chocolates over yesterday for Christmas. Grr. I only ate 1 yesterday, haven't yet today but I'm sure I will. If I an keep it to 1 a day it'll take a month to eat them hehe. But I will likely bring them home on New Years Eve if nothing else and allow people who come over to help devour them. Yup sounds like a good plan!

Challenge is over. I finally updated my workouts from the last week of the challenge. The only reason I managed to do this was because my evening job is a manual job, I didn't actually do other exercises other than perhaps cleaning. Not sure if I would have done anything had I not been doing the 2nd job. I think what my new goal needs to be is to get in a workout at least once a week that is a proper workout that is not due to cleaning or work.
 
I just got around to updating this. The flu kept me off of here and killed the exercise. I did manage to hit the 3x a week for week 4. You got yours in as well and lost a bit of weight during the challenge. Thanks for doing this! t helped me stay focused. Now that I'm no longer ill I look forward to getting back on track. Good luck in the new year!
 
Hi Quercus! Glad you got some workouts in, even with the flu.

I think I will start a new challenge similar to this come the new year. Give myself a week or so break and see. I'll try to post it soon so people can join in. And yes I lost some weight, sadly back up to 137 today some how. Not cool! But I know when I go back to my "diet" and am more careful what I eat and get some proper workouts in I will lose weight again. Just hope I don't gain too much more in the next couple days!
 
I'd be up for it for sure. I'll keep an eye out for ya. Don't sweat the rebound. You'll get back in no time.
