i need some proof that squats dont stunt growth

Anecdotal Evidence:
I started squating when I was 12 and continued it pretty consistantly until I was 18, although I mostly did higher repetitions (12-20). I am only 5'10", but my father was 5'8" and my mother was 5'4" so I most likely reached my genetic potential maximum height. So certainly squating with reasonable loads did not stunt my growth. In fact, I would give most of the credit of going from a skinny, sickly 88 pound 12 year old to a healthy 190 pound 18 year old to weight lifting.
