I Need Energy!

My current energy boost is an occasional Red Bull. One or two a week. I don't drink coffee or soda.

I do get a small boost from a more balanced meals and exercise but I need something more consistent.

I am looking for something pre workout, post workout. Somthing that gives me mental energy as well as physical.

Protien shake? Vitamins? Energy booster? There is so much stuff out there it is hard to know what is best for me.

What do you recommend?

if you eat a well-balanced diet, take multi-viatmins, stay hydrated by drinking plnenty of water, and get adequate amounts of sleep, you shoul dhave all the energy you need. Why take Red Bull? Why take artificial so-call "energy boosters".
Keep it real, bro. You don't need Red Bull...you just think you do. Red Bull needs you!
 
Just a little addendum.

After my workout last night I noticed that after thw workout I feel pretty good and have all the energy I need.

The link for spike looks very interesting.

It is more during the day and before my workout that I could use a boost.

you gotta pay it back.


go natural, eat plenty of slow carbs.

I 'd like to know if your tired, or if you run out of energy.

If your tired you may be sleeping too much, or too little, go to the doctor.

If your doing all the right stuff but you run out of energy, then its because your unfit. Try some HITT training to shorten your workout and gain fitness
 
Red Bull??? Too expensive. If I'm gonna spend that kind of cash on a drink, it'd better be something with Rum in it, or a nice amber ale.

I am going to ask my dietician about spike and other supplements. If she gives me a go ahead I am gonna cach in on the sale.
 
I just ordered the spike and the Mega Men Sport vitamins, I am getting rid of the Centrum. Not bad only $53 for Spike, vitamins, and new electric shaker cup.
 
Take a nap, or meditate for a few minutes. Why overwork your heat with artificial stimulants? Dosen't matter how good your biceps look if your heart explodes;)
 
you should never use drugs before you have tryed everything else. they will only add to the problem. there are plenty of natural medicins that can help you like ginsing, and acupuncture.

taking drugs before you have tryed getting used to your new lifestyle is crazy. give it more time.
 
I just wanna see if it can help you focus and concentrate, like it claims, which would help at school. I am not gonna take it everday nor before working out. I am not going to depend on it for weight loss, just wanna try it out and see what happens.

Well I took one yesterday, but didnt have any noticeable effects. I think I may have not of yawned as much in class, but other than that, I dont know. I will see when I take the second one tomorrow.

Speaking of accupuncture, I was gonna try that, just to see what its like. Have you went, noticeable results?

For a natural alternative, Ginko Biloba is great for mental clarity and sharpness. Ginseng is great for energy...
