If you aren't working out, find a hobbie that will keep you occupied. I use to refinish furniture on the weekends. Some people are into crafts, gardening, painting, etc...

If you hang out in the house bored, you will eat. Make plans even if it is with yourself. Go to the museum, the park, look at events near by that you can walk to and enjoy. Volunteer somewhere that can use your help.

Make saturday a training day, head to the gym. Or just do something else, like gotfit said.. the most important thing is to occupy yourself.

In addition to the other suggestions, here's my .02: I solved my snacking issue by just not buying the things I snack on most. A moment of restraint in the supermarket saves me having to battle with myself the whole time I'm home. If its a basic food like bread, just buy a little at a time, just what you absolutely need for a few days, that will force you out of the house periodically to get more while restricting your access to it. Or just don't buy bread as often. Maybe start using wraps for lunch instead of making sandwiches. They are less snackable than a slice of bread. Remove the temptation and it helps remove the problem :)

Hi

Stay away from the fridge, TV & couch. When we're close to these things, we act like autobots and eat. Cultivate a new hobby, as long as you keep yourself occupied, your mind won't even think of food.

Me and my friends dye each other's hair,do scrapbooking, practice hoola or window shop. That way we keep ourselves busy so food is absolutely out of our minds. :D

kool i anit done the hoola for years haha yeah i will thanks. i dont really watch tv or sit on the coutch much so not problem there

thanks everyone
i will let u know how this saturday goes.

The easy solution: just don't eat what you know is going to make you feel bad.

Nobody is holding a gun to your head saying "EAT THIS OR DIE". Just because everybody else is eating crap doesn't mean you have to.

Everybody has will power. Exercise your will power and it will get stronger :)
