Stop spreading nonsense and you won't hear from me anymore.
Pretty simple, huh?
If everyone started listening to you (highly unlikely), you'd have 20,000 confused people on your hands.
Not cool.
mmkthanx
Susana, the information that Steve is giving you is based on scientific fact, not on his opinions...
Do listen to him - getting to where you want to be fitness wise and health wise will be a lot less painful that what you're currently feeling...
The Basic Rules of Proper Food Combining:
1. Eat acids and starches at separate meals. Acids neutralize the alkaline medium required for starch digestion and the result is fermentation and indigestion.
2. Eat protein foods and carbohydrate foods at separate meals. Protein foods require an acid medium for digestion.
3. Eat but one kind of protein food at a meal.
4. Eat proteins and acid foods at separate meals. The acids of acid foods inhibit the secretion of the digestive acids required for protein digestion. Undigested protein putrefies in bacterial decomposition and produces some potent poisons.
5. Eat fats and proteins at separate meals. Some foods, especially nuts, are over 50% fat and require hours for digestion.
6. Eat sugars (fruits) and proteins at separate meals.
7. Eat sugars (fruits) and starchy foods at separate meals. Fruits undergo no digestion in the stomach and are held up if eaten with foods that require digestion in the stomach.
8. Eat melons alone. They combine with almost no other food.
9. Desert the desserts. Eaten on top of meals they lie heavy on the stomach, requiring no digestion there, and ferment. Bacteria turn them into alcohols and vinegars and acetic acids.
The "separate eating" is complete nonesense. I used to believe in it as well. My meals are almost always "mixed" now and it never ever has been a problem for my weight loss results. I have no scientific proofs, I just state a fact of my experience.
That's fine if you like to torture yourself with stupid minutia. That's your life.
I'm saying... don't spread that kind of useless junk around as advice for other people. ..... Losing weight is difficult enough for most no need to make it more complex than it already is.
Skipping meals will always make you lose weight quick,
But if you're constantly going back to the same plan for 14 years - that means it's not a lifestyle change and you're not able to keep the weight off - for whatever reason you might have... your plan is not effective... an effective plan - takes the weight off and allows a person to live their life with the weight off...This rigorousness program are to restore my weight...after that, i don't need be so rigorously.
