I have to find a way

I started off good yesterday, but I think that I made a poor choice for my dinner selection. It is a slow process, but I am getting much better at it. What I try to do if I'm eatting something that I shouldn't is that I won't eat it all. I will at least leave 1/4 of it and i love fries with ketsup, I won't eat all the fries, I will make sure that I eat only 1/2.

I think it's great that you are being honest with yourself and writing everything down. I also think it's great that your resisting the temptation to eat all them fries and threw them Pop tarts away POSTHASTE!

I guess the question I have for is this "do you KNOW what it is your eating when you eat the things you do?"

To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed. that is to say, if you know, or at least have an idea of what it is your putting into your body, it might help you to think twice about munching on them pop-tarts or sucking down those french fries. (which I will admit that McDonalds is WAY BETTERER tasting than Buger King)

Here's a website that will help you look at the content (calories, fat satureated fat and more) of the foods you are eatinghttp://www.thecaloriecounter.com/

Check out the calories in a large fry:http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/Foods/2100/21138/1/Food.aspx

and in a pop tart (times 2 if your eating two of them:http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/Foods/1800/18497/Food.aspx

I don't think you should be an expert right off the bat. cutting back on the bad things is a great place to start. But when your ready to take the next step, or when you get discourged becouse your not doing as good as you think you should be doing, Don't be afraid to ask for some advice. the folks here are a great resource for information, encourgement and education. use them.

and we'll see you around. All you gotta do is keep coming back. :)
