I have/had an eating disorder -- I NEED HELP.

I want to get up and go take a walk, but I'm feeling lazy. Eh.

Who doesn't? The biggest obstacle is to get started. Once you're out there on your walk the worst part is already done. So try to lure yourself to put on the walking shoes and go out the door. Think, I'm just going to go out for a 10 minute walk. Once you're there you might want to make it 30 minutes, or just be happy for the 10 minutes and go back home. That's 10 minutes more than not going at all.
Is there a place in your neighbourhood you think is worth seeing? Go see it. Take a map and find out if there are places in a walking distance you haven't been to. Go there. Go in a different place every time until you find a place where you really like to go to. Walk everywhere, if you can, don't take a bus, don't go by car. Make it as easy for yourself as you can.

Hi there, Im so glad you hear you've been able to tell your teacher how you've been feeling. Hopefully now they can give you the help you need. The way I see it, sharing your feelings online must be better them bottleing them up, right? But I am happy you've got some support in 'real life' now aswell. Im sure your family will come to accept the way you chose to ask for help in the end. Try to be strong and im sure you can be happy!

you dont have to deal with this alone and you shouldn't have to. reach out to a family member or friend you trust and talk to them.It can really help make things easier i know from personal expierence.

This topic is DEAD.

I don't have an eating disorder anymore.

I talked to a teacher, a school counselor, a regular counselor, and my parents.
I have to see a psychiatrist on Thursday.
I have to start seeing a counselor weekly.
