We are! We've invented lots of useful things! Like the best device every to cut cheese with.. we probably also invented skiis
Oh and snow! And polar bears, penguins, igloos, I bet we had a good hand in those viking longships aswell Not to mention the best battle axes you'll ever wield! I think the fact that the Vikings were the first Europeans to get to North America is amazing. Apparently you hit Newfoundland first in 1001 A.D. We're finding tons of Viking artifacts on "The Rock".

Apparently he wasn't there for all that long, though.I'd think we invented XC skiing.. but I don't think anyone knows for sure who actually did it first, but I think there are some cave carvings (dunno the English word for it..) showing people XC skiin found in Norway that are pretty damn old
