I failed

well actually it does when you present yourself as an expert. That is what you are making yourself out as here on the forum. That is why I like to see the education of a 'physical trainer'.

And as far as toxic chemicals being produced, yes..like many foods eaten. Our body gets rid of that stuff as long as you are not doing megadoses. I believe our differences is based on your wording. I disagree and I showed my science. You showed yours.

Yes I am a "Physical Trainer" etc , But allot of my Information I get from The people I mentioned . Who have Degree's etc and are allot more experienced than me . I know I come across as a NO IT ALL , but I believe in what I say and I to had the same views as allot of people on here (STAN) a few years ago . Please dont get my Views and opinions confused with me thinking ,I'm a no it all I am Passionate about weight loss and helping people achieve this and generally want to give people good advice . I am Personal Trainer and generally just want to help people .

Yes your write I'm just saying your body has allot harder time trying to find something useful with this certain Sugar HFCS / In comparison to other sugars like Glucose etc . Hence so many people linking it to obesity.

(VERY last warning. Next time you offer anyone an ebook or plan that you want to email them..you are gone. You have gotten a very long leash here.)

You know what your body does with those toxins? It pisses it away.

It's not link to obesity cause of that..it is linked to obesity cause it's CALORIES. People tend to drink too many sodas and eat too much candy and sweets thus too many calories.

PS I would like to email you a few things if your interested , A meal planner and EBOOK . It changed allot of my opions on things and Worked for me in regards to Fat loss etc its free and not spam .

ah hell no. That is the very definition of spam on this site.

Yes to a certain extent. Its the Stuff that's left . Thats what I'm saying your liver cant break certain parts of HFCS , But I'm no expert when it come to HFCS . I'm not going to debate over it any longer because its pointless . I would just personally avoid larges amount of (But that goes with any sugar ...)

Thats fine ,I generally wanted to give you some stuff ... I could post the link of the downlaod for it but im guessing that is spam ? I would PM you it but I cant PM so ...

I suggest reading your PM or at the very least your edited post. If I see you offering to email anything to people anymore, you are banned. The Mods have given you plenty of warnings and infractions but you seem intent on breaking those rules of the forum.

Yea fine ,

I'm from the UK :)

I've been cutting down on junk and making meals from scratch, while getting back into exercise. I'm going to the supermarket tomorrow so I'll have better foods- my family is pretty unhealthy!

I know I've never posted (I joined, but I read posts rather than post myself), but you remind me of myself. I was at the same point at your age. It took me hitting about 240 in April of junior year of high school (we had just gone on a week long trip where we ate really unhealthfully and I know I was somewhere between 230 and 240 that week) to make myself realize that I needed to lose weight. I went to a summer camp for a month and had gotten down to 214 by the end of that summer with no dieting.
From there, I watched what I ate and exercised. Of course, I lose weight when I work hard at it and maintain when I don't. Right now I'm 184 and 20 years old. At your height, you'll probably want to weight no less than 120 (I saw your previous goal).

My advice is to set a big goal for when you hit 199.
Look into nutrition and calorie counting. I know some people say calorie counting is overrated and that if you eat right you'll be fine. I find that I eat less if I'm actually counting.

I wish you the best of luck and I know you can do it! Good luck and don't stress if you plateau!

Thank you, it means a lot :)

I've always lost weight through calorie counting but for now I'm going to focus on nutrition and actually chaning eating habits!

I'm 24 and I have a 2 year old daughter. The day before I gave birth I weighed 198 lbs, at 5'9". I have been determined to "lose the baby fat" and am proud to say that I am now 5'9" and weigh 132lbs. What helped me was to think about my goal everyday. That was a huge part for me; and to think about what I'm doing. I consulted sites on-line about healthy height/weight ratios; I have a smaller frame for my height so 130 was a healthy weight goal for me. I started off with being realistic about adjusting my caloric intake. Calories are energy; we don't want to flood the engine with too much gasoline than the car needs or it'll break the engine. Our bodies work in a similar way; if we eat more calories than we need than its going to make things harder on us. I reduced my calorie intake and started being more conscientious about what I was putting in my mouth, and how I was living. Even little things like parking further away so you have to walk more DOES help. Every day I would wake up and think to myself; I will be healthy and fit. That should be the goal; not losing the weight, but being healthy; weight loss is a by-product of changing unhealthy eating and living habits.

This is one of the best posts I have read . The last sentance is bang on the money ... ... Good Job :hurray:

I haven't been on in a while, I've had a lot of exams and will continue to :(

Well, there is good and bad news. The bad being I haven't lost much, the good being I'm 7 pounds less! I'm going to kickstart it tomorrow as I'm free now. I need to get into exercise first before I can eat healthy.

I need to get into exercise first before I can eat healthy.

Why? In all but the most extreme circumstances, weight loss comes from better nutrition, not exercise.

Plus if you tweak your food intake, you'll have more energy and get more benefit from your workouts. A virtuous circle.

Good luck, and I know it's frustrating when the scale appears to get stuck but persevering is worthwhile. Trust me ;) I'm a doctor :D

Welcome Back

That's the wonderful thing about being able to start over! Each day is a new day so try not to get into an "all or nothing" mentality.
One suggestion that has helped me tremendously is going to bed earlier. I was a late night eater and when I could make myself get into the habit of going to bed earlier, not only did I get more sleep but I cut out the late night eating and lost weight! Maybe it could work for you too. Good Luck!
