ripping a phone book in half is so easy.

you don't rip it like you would a piece of paper. all you gotta do is open it up to about the middle, grab both sides of the book and pull. Easy, a 6 year old could do it. It's technique ;)

i rip it like i would rip a piece of paper...i dont open it up and rip it in half...just rip it right down the guts.
 
not the full yellow pages....but my best effort was 2" thick...i dont know how i did that one...ive got another one that thick here that i cant do though...must be different types of paper or something.
 
Just swinging bloody wrenches all day long!

im a mechanic by day and a break bend and tear everything at night!
this was my first attempt at tearing a 2" book!

Oh and it sounds impressive tearing a phonebook in half but its not that impressive when you get the right technique down pat.
