I bought a PS3 today!?

My favourite gaming system has always been SuperNintendo, still is, and always will be. I'm not a fan of modern games (anything after N64) or computer games (expect Warcraft II, which was awesome).

Super Nintendo is my favorite system still too. What about Final Fantasy 3 and chrono trigger? Those games are awesome if you like rpg's.
I played Lufia 2 this year, I liked that quite a bit too.
Anyone here actually had a Jaguar? It's sort of like the PS3 back in the days. It was the most powerful system out, yet it quickly failed due to price and the difficulity for programmers. I doubt Sony will back down without a fight, but thus far they're having trouble in their best market - America. I think once Grand Theft Auto and Metal Gear Solid come about, the system will quickly loose momentum and possibly down the tube along with the Blueray thing. Unless you have the original model with the Emotion engine (or whatever you call it), you're pretty much going to be stuck with an expensive machine and no games to play. I think the next iteration of Final Fantasy will come out on ps3, but I heard they're planning for "other systems" which might be Wii since the company is Japan based, and Microsoft is pretty much unwanted.
Make sure you are ready for that God of War III too...
That and GTA IV are the reasons I will eventually have to get a PS3...

Yeah, but God of War III isn't. Plus, I know it's stupid, but I have had a PS, and PS2, so I kinda feel loyal to it, they've been good systems for me...

First off ... NES was the SMS's biotch for those in the know 
But seriously these days I only have a 360 and a PSP. I do not really have much time to play and no longer have the disposable income to constantly upgrade my PCs. I have never had a hardware issue with my 360 and have enjoyed some its games. Currently I look forward to GTA IV, Prototype, Fallout 3,as well as some others that are looking like they will shape up to be awesome. I have nothing against the PS3 other than its pricetag. A pricetag that isn't supported by a full enough library yet. The Wii? Looks nifty for the price, but not a must have for me.

yea ut is pretty sweet especially online the only bad thing is no vs. with a human player.

btw the next star wars game coming out called force unleashed looks great.
How is Assasins Creed? It looked interesting, despite it's odd twist on the whole "Assasins" history. For some reason never got around to picking it up. I know it was out around the same time Mass Effect was released and that is most likely why I forgot about it. And yes the videos for Force Unleashed look amazing.
