Hi guys, I pump iron around 3-4 times a week and usually do my cardio immediately after the weight training session. So, that makes 1-1:30 hours weights and then about 20-25 minutes of cardio.
For cardio I either do a jog from the gym to my home at a fairly fast pace, or some interval training.
My interval training is as follows:
5 minute jog
30 sec sprint
30 sec jog or walk
30 sec sprint
30 sec jog or walk
30 sec sprint
30 sec jog or walk
30 sec sprint
30 sec jog or walk
30 sec sprint
30 sec jog or walk
5 min jog
It depends on how wied out I am from the weight training. If I am super exhauseted, I do a jog, if I'm fresh, I'll do the intervals.
You should definetely weight train for fatloss in order to preserve you Lean Body Mass while stripping of fat. Thus you body will be more toned and harder and less jiggly
