How many times should I drink protein per day?

Really poor advice enz, you can easily get enough protein from your diet, which is actually prefered rather than supplements.

Yes you need more protein, but not a lot more, ESPECIALLY not 2g per pound thats just absurd.

I agree, lmao. 2g of Protein per body weight pound is crazy. I think. That means if someone weighs 200 pounds, someone must consume 400 grams of protein?

I agree protein shakes should probably be banned as people do not realise they are unnecessarily expensive supplements whereas high quality protein can be gotten from natural sources.

Sorry, but I beg to differ. I'm a vegan. Therefore I get all of my protein from powders/shakes, eggs and yogurt. The results are FABULOUS!!
 
my dr.put me on whey protein powder for weight lost and because i don't eat right .i am excerising 5 days a week.anybody else have input on this ?

I was informed that protein is an excellent source for weight loss. I drink whey protein shakes everyday and the results are very good. However I drink those with 0 Fat/0 Trans Fat/0 Sugar (it consists of Stevia instead of sugar). Good luck!
