I like the new layout, its more intuitive. However, since the layout has been changed, the site runs extremely slowly for me. The security certificate pops up and yet, the site isn't secure which confused me. Have you moved to a new server?

no, this is my fault. one of the banners that was loading on the side was loading from a secure site. I have since fixed this though.

I think "Current Trends" should be a sub-forum for "Fitness Equipment".

I really like the new look. I think people will feel alot less reserved about posting in the weight loss section to now that it isn't gender specific.

current trends may not last ... current trends right now would include Pilates, Yoga, etc, and that wouldn't fit under Fitness Equipment ...
