This week's bonus is exercise-related. Now that many of you stuffed yourselves with Thanksgiving dinner (I ate 4,135 calories yesterday!!) it's time to work off those extra calories. So, for every 15minutes that you exercise beyond your normal 3hrs, you'll get 2pts--up to an extra 90min of exercise. So that's a total 12pts that you can earn additionally. You still get 10pts for your first 3hrs.

And, just a reminder that today ends the individual phase of the challenge. Please make sure your stats are updated through the end of week 3 by Sunday pm. If not, you won't be placed on a team. If you are unable to update due to being out of town, ect--you must let me know ahead of time, otherwise I cannot put you on a team.

Oh I like this challenge. And I like that I'm pretty free this weekend so I don't have to worry about finding the time to do it. All good challenges so far (as I eat my 3 cups of veggies to complete the challenge for this week!).
 
Ooh! I am looking forward to the bonus challenge. The past couple weeks I have been breaking the minimum, but not going to the gym as often (or for as long) as I had hoped. I hope to crush the goal this time, work off some turkey, and hit all the points.

I will not be able to get my stats updated until Sunday afternoon as I am at my parents' house for the weekend. I will surely get it all ready as soon as I can, hopefully by, let's say, 4:00PM Central on Sunday.

This one should be easy, as I already go over 3 hrs each week.

I got my veggies in every day but wednesday, and do to the road trip nature of driving to mom's house, I just missed out on those points. Ah, well. I am still doing reasonably well.

Well seems I am the only one who is not so excited about the exercises. I don't think I will ever be a sport loving person. I already do 30 min every day, so in order to reach max points I need to add 15 min of exercises in 4 days of the week. I don't go to gym, I don't have any equipments at home (I walk and jog normaly), and generally this makes things a bit boring. So what I have decided is to follow couple of 15 min video workouts from sparkpeople.com in addition to my 3 and a half hours. I MUST get those points!!!!!!! :gnorsi:

Hey, when you post the new weekly challenge, could you also post to the original sign up thread saying "the new bonus is posted" so we know to look for it? The original pops up in our CP, but the new bonuses do not, and some people may miss them due to that. You don't have to describe it or anything, just let us know to go look for it?

Sure. I don't use my cp much so it never occurred to me. I just assumed people check there regularly around this time. :)
 
I am wondering if people are missing the first day or so before they remember to go looking for it. I could be wrong, but no harm in making sure they know it's there!

On another note, how do you not use your CP? Do you just look in every section for the things you've posted to get the responses? It seems easier to hit CP and see all the threads I have posted to that have been updated.
 
awesome, i need something to help puch me more in the gym this week!

ya thanksgiving day was really hard, but i stayed away from really sweet foods....still though i ate alot of calories

I guess the reason I don't use it much is b/c if there are a lot of threads when I first look at it, they all disappear before I can get to them all. I usually just go section by section. I'll hit diaries, then challenges (usually the other way around), then anything else I'm interested in.
