Well there are a number of diciplines like the surf ski, ski rescue irb theres heaps I do surf ski and a swim rescue. You have to be a member of a club here and you compete against other clubs etc.

Oh, I see. I thought it was some kind of drinking contest you have with all your lifeguard buddies or something. But NOPE, I guard for the money...at a pool, which is entirely different from ocean rescues, as you know.
Yeah it is, I do pool guarding in the summer as well good money easy job hot chicks!
