Hobbies?

Time to learn more about each other...

Whats some hobbies outside of working out for everyone?

I am very outdoorsy, love to go camping, fishing, boating, riding fourwheelers, motorcycles, whatever! Also been playing the drums for about 6 years.

How about all of you?

Paintballing, working on engines, computers, swimming and flirting. All a body needs.

Erm, well - I like to work out ;)

I love movies too - absolutely obsessed by them, have been for years! Gradually putting together my home cinema system atm.

Cycling when the weathers good

Does beer count as a hobby??? :p

Working out, practicing piano, the arts (music especially), going out to nature... I'd think beer would count especially if you brew it yourself, or travel to microbreweries and/or sample a lot of different beers. I do the travel and sample bit, but not the brewing bit so far.

Nothing so adventerous for me I'm afraid, apart from the sampling lots of different ones I suppose (I'm an Ale man rather than a lager man). Unfortunately, my fitness regime rather gets in the way of pursuing this 'hobby' to its full potential!! ;)

I feel your pain, I really do... Here in PA alone we have a lot of great beers (Victory's Hop Devil, Sly Fox's Raspberry Wheat Reserve, Yards' Historical Ales for example...) not to mention those available in surrounding states. I started out a lager man, but have since branched out into ales... In fact, I have one on tap at the moment, a sixtel of Troegs' Nugget Nectar. Wonderful stuff indeed.

ah Stingo, we obviously share a common interest. Such a shame that the calories are empty ones :(

My favourite tipple of late has been 'McEwans Champion Ale' and I do like an 'Old Speckled Hen' of a weekend. The McEwans is extremely strong though, given my depleted tolerance (about 8% I think) so, only in moderation that one!

I brew beer. I haven't done any for a little bit, but I had a nice American Pale Ale, a milk stout, and a nice hefeweizen recipe I liked to make :)

Im kinda partial to ales myself. I really like Sierra Nevada's APA, Stone breweries Arrogant Bastard, Ruination IPA. Bell's Oberon Wheat is very good also.

Great stuff! After our last Game, we endulged in this and some Scotch with a deer head on it. I don't really like scotch but I love beer. I'm a Mickeys, St Pauli's Girl, McEwans kinda' guy. However, I do really like that beer with the friar on it or monk...whatever he is and Sopporro is just awesome.

My hobbies-beer, martial arts, Highland competitions

Lifting, writing a novel, music (used to play the drums-before I had kids), painting, teaching about my profession, hiking etc......

riding my ninja
making stained glass panels
shooting handguns and my AR-15

and I keep several high tech planted aquariums, the largest is 75gallons.

I love to ski,(tried snowboarding but hurt my tailbone and decided to go back to skiing), scrapbooking (use to do alot but haven't been lately), hiking, and reading. My husband rides a Suzuki Bandit motorcycle and we would ride alot but this year I have decided not to ride anymore. (As I am getting older, I am starting to think about the what if''s) I am afraid of getting in an accident and getting hurt. I hate the feeling of no control. My husband suggested I learn to ride my own bike and then I would have the control but I am not interested in it. We also are into renovating our home - one room at a time.

Vampires and stuff

I started programming computers again. I found an old game I used to play, Begin: A Tactical Starship Simulator, and since the original authors have essentially stopped producing it, I've decided to make my own.

Backpacking, kayaking, playing pool. I am getting back into rock climbing again.
