Hippogal's Diary (comments pls)

I love your graphical representation of your progress....nice touch :) and, well done on the progress you've made so far.

As far as the large meal of the day is concerned, I always have mine in the evening at about 8pm. Most people say this is the worst time possible but, I get to the gym at 5:30 and leave at about 7:30 so, my metabolism is still WAY up when I eat.

if your trying to lose weight (fat), should you not be weight training? if your goal through weight training is to gain lean muscle mass and 'tone', is this contradicting trying to lose weight?

would it be a better idea to wait until you'd reached your goal weight and then start weight training?

thanks, slickzchik

Grats of the success you have had and the success to come. I'm new here and only started my dieting and exercise this week, so I have no real advice to offer yet, but Good Luck!

slickzchick, weight training is an integral part of weight loss (well, fat loss). Increased lean muscle mass increases your metabolism and helps you reduce bodyfat %

i agree, you need to eat more!!!!
i once lost 30 lbs eating like a bird (oatmeal for b-fast, apple for lunch, small salad for dinner) lost the weight but gained it back SO QUICKLY. you will feel awful when this happens to you!! please eat more, and if you exercise...u will still lose!
