Is it worth purchasing a steamer guys? And is it worth wearing a sweat belt whilst walking? Thanks
When you go from not moving very much to moving a lot more your muscles retain water. That´s normal and has nothing to do with fat but it is very frustrating from a scale perspective. Next week should be better (the extra water weight won´t drop for another couple of weeks but it doesn´t stack either so your "real" loss should show on the scale). A sweat belt doesn´t make you burn more calories, it just inhibits your body´s ability to cool down by evaporating sweat normally. A separate steamer is really only worth buying if you steam veggies a lot and have plenty of room in your kitchen; otherwise a 5€ steamer basket to set into on of your normal pans is plenty. I rarely steam things though: I usually just boil them using only a thin layer of water, which is pretty much the same thing.Ah, that´s right, you said so. In that case I´m afraid you´re unlikely to see a big drop this week. Water in your leg muscles and all that. I do like the look of your calories a lot more today: 2000 or so?

Exercise is at least a 5 mile walk every morning around 9am,,

Hello Lamaria, haven't been inkine lately been super busy. I bought the 800 calorie book, but not to keen on the recipes. So back to drawing board again. Weigh day tomorrow so hoping for a little change.I'm guessing he means that the calories you eat on one cheat day need two or three days to compensatd for. Which is usually true, although it can be more. And he's suggesting you should try intermittent fasting, because it works for him. That last bit isn't very clear from his message but he suggests it to everyone. I personally feel miserable on IF and it makes me binge but if you're insuline resistant it looks like a good option.
