Hey Girl! Just wanted to post to bring you back to page 1! Where have you been the past few days? I hope you are still doing well!

That was such a sweet story about your boyfriend! I am so happy for you. My hubby has also made me very proud of him lately. He already does almost all of the cooking and cleaning so that I have time to go to school, study, and spend time with him and the kids. Since I got home from the hospital, he has been doing absolutely everything for me. I mean, it is not like I am able to get around, but still. I know plenty of people who wouldn't do that for their spouse.

I miss being on the team with you! I will try to check in sometimes, when I have a moment of sanity in the midst of this loupy drugged up feeling.

How are you going with your exercise and the gym?

hey everyone

thanks so much for checking up on me - it's been quite a while since my last update! last week i did great. . . . .went to the gym, stayed within my calories. this past weekend was horrible. . . . .first off, i think i'm coming down with a sinus infection and have been really really tired - i think i slept something like 14 hours on saturday!!! then saturday night i was witness to a multiple shooting. . . . . . . .which i'm definitely still trying to be ok with again. so my diet focus was a wee bit lost. good news is i didn't gain anything because of it. . . .but i didn't go to the gym all weekend either. *le sigh*

trying to refocus again. goal today is to motivate myself to DO stuff again. i'm still excessively tired, but am going to try to perk up with a pot of coffee and treat myself to a 'brunch' with egg beaters and my veggie sausage patties. they are tasty!! :)

Heather wow!! Hope you are doing ok after witnessing that crime! Sounds horrible. But way to go on your success. You're doing great fighting a sinus infection etc. Great attitude!

Jess - yeah i'm ok. i just don't feel quite as safe in the city as i did. . . . . .understandably so, i think. the veggie sausage patties are surprisingly tasty. i'm not going to lie and be like 'they're EXACTLY like it!' because they aren't. . . . but they satisfy my cravings for salty breakfast meat. and that's what counts!

newleaf - thanks for the encouragement hon. i really appreciate it. trying to stick with the plan!

yesterday was actually better, although i'm still feeling really tired even this morning. i actually motivated myself to get some stuff done in the apt, including some thank-yous, a letter to my grandmother and cleaning up the christmas decorations. sounds small, but was quite the undertaking.

eating was much better yesterday, even tho i was 60 calories over my 1500. i at least was eating things more along the lines of what i SHOULD be eating. am holding off on the gym a little bit. . . .i want to make sure i get healthy again before i push myself, especially since i have three 12 hour shifts ahead of me.

and now i must dash because i have some errands to do, then i'm trying to rest as much as possible before work tonight so i don't get any sicker!! :p
 
so OK, it's been way too long since i updated my diary. i'm so busy posting on all of the challenge threads that i don't pay attention to this thing anymore!!

the diet thing. . . .well it isn't as strict as it once was. and i'm finding myself increasingly OK with that. i'm not slipping into my old routines. . . . .far from. i'm continuing to keep my exercise a priority, i'm just not freaking out if i decide i can have some chicken fingers. for the most part, i'm eating really well. i just have to keep mindful of what i'm putting in my mouth.

today was GREAT! had class for my critical care course from 7:30 till 11:30 (SUPER grateful to get out of that early - we were supposed to go till 4pm). got my absolute favorite veggie stir fry in the world and now have some waiting as leftover for dinner. then i went out for a run outside for the first time in ages. it ended up being nearly exactly an HOUR LONG!!!! wow! i don't know how far it was. . . . should figure it out on mapquest. . . .ok well that's kind of annoying but ANYWAY it's about 4-5 miles. not terrible, considering i average about a 10-12 minute mile. yay :)

ok off to do some homework. . . . .or maybe just take a nap. i'm so tired. :p

so i haven't forgotten about this website, just haven't had time to update. . . .but i wanted to tell you girls that i'm 2 lbs away from losing 30 POUNDS!!!!! i got to buy all new clothing, and everything in my closet now fits me :-D i'm SO EXCITED!

on the path to 130. . . . . .i can do this!
