OK everyone post what you would like to see for NEXT WEEKS BONUS which will be WEEK 4 and I will take the top 5 ideals and run a POLL with it and the one with the most VOTES WINS.
So go ahead and posy YOUR ideal and tell teamates to post as well and your ideal may be next weeks challange!POST THEM HERE OF COURSE!TY GL TAMMY

How about, daily recommended value of veggies & fruits! ( I sound like a commercial! )

Or counting all your calories, and staying in your limit?

I like that and I actually had something like that written down for 1 of the weeks but I like the try a NEW veggie or fruit each day so far, keep them coming we need atleast 5 ideals so we all can vote and have a say on NEXT weeks challange!I woukld like all the teams to feel like they have say to instead of MISS BOSSY TAMMY haha:rotflmao:

how about fitting in some kind of extra exercise each day? For examples
take 30mins and SUPER hardcore clean while dancing with your broom (lol), 30 mins of crazy dancing while pulling faces, 30 mins extra shopping !

its not that great of an idea. But maybe it will encourage people to do more, and keep active and HAVE FUN. So like 5 days do 30mins of something different

How about a healthy recipe challenge? Of course I don't know how that would work.

i dont eat fast-food anymore. that one would be easy for me !

they boyfriend ate a burger in front of me the other day and i had to actually get out of the car it made me feel ill. I took his fries with me and threw them in the bin (MWAH HA HA).... they were free anyway, lady charged him for the burger he ordered but got a combo lol

The "new fruit/veggie" would be interesting, but a bit scary for me as I already eat a huge variety of produce, but I'm sure I could find 6-7 things I have never tried- altho some may require a recipe as ill ahve no idea how to cook it or if its edible in the "raw". LOL

An idea that came to mind for a challenge might be to have to post ONE positive thing about yourself everyday, as being in the right frame of mind is important for weightloss success.

There are some good ones ouit there! so far we have the frutes and veggies a day and it don't even have to be exactly a never tasted new but a variety like this mon apple tues bannah w orange thur watermelon same with veggies to thats a gr8 ideal
another no fast food
mine was NO television on 2days you pic the days but you have to go 24 hoirs without watching TV and either exersice read clean catchup with the family whatever.
etra exersicing of 30 minutes + not counting the 30 already thats a good 1
No types of junk food for a week and yes this does mean 100 cal pks of cookies and chips I guess granola and protoen bars shouldn'tbe ruled out because they have some healthy value to then unlike the 100 cal dorito lol.
Ok more ideals then we can have a POLL :rotflmao: ALSO the recipie challange could be interesting if you can say whats the outcome and what exactly the challange could be?

Maybe you could do a combination of all the suggestions for a week?

I like niapage's idea about no TV.

Also, a variety of fruits/veggies could be fun!

How about a Lent-type thing where we each chose something to give up for a week? Just an idea.

What about post a healthy recipe in the team's challenge thread, or maybe 2 per week?

What about try a new form of exercise, never tried yoga? try it. or usually work out in the gym, one day crank up the radio & dance for 20 minutes around the house...something new.

no soda all week... that kinda works with the water challenge.

get fitted for new shoes ( don't have to buy them) but that way you know you are using the right stuff & not setting yourself up for injuries by wearing the wrong thing for your foot.

How about a random act of kindness thing? I don't know if the challenges have to pertain to the weight loss, but personally, I find it very satisfying to do something nice for someone or for the environment. It's a great feeling to smile at someone who's not smiling and then they smile back at you. Kinda like Pay it Forward.

How about incorporate your family into your exercise routine......examples being take a 30 minute walk with the family, go for a bike ride with the family, let the kids do the excercise video right along side you, get them involved with the yard work right along side of you, toss a football, go to the park and PLAY don't sit on the bench, ect, ect ,ect. the ideas are endless.
This way not only are you getting healthy, your also spending quality time with your fam and teaching your kids good life lessons on being healthy.

Well, that wouldn't be fair to those who don't have family nearby. Not everyone has children at home with them, or spouses, etc. Lot's of people live alone.

I like the idea of eating the daily recommended amounts of fruit and veggies. What is it? 5 servings a day? Do not make me give up TV just after I got expanded cable and all the new fall episodes are coming out..lol. Please, I beg of you!! haha.

Sorry:(
I wasn't thinking.
Guess I was trying to come up with something that would work well for me.

I know you like to get your kids involved with your workouts, and that is fantastic! It's too bad more parents don't do that. I think there would be a lot less overweight kids if they did.

I was checking out the U.S. Gov guidelines for fruit and veggies, and it recommeds getting 2 cups of fruit per day, and 2.5cups of veggies per day. I think that would be a great challenge b/c I know lots of people don't eat enough fruit and veggies on a daily basis. I am sometimes guilty of this. It doesn't even have to be different kinds, just that you get them in..lol. However, I think the veggies would need to be the non-starcy kind. I.e--potatoes and corn are not included in this..lol. And fruit has to be fresh--not canned with sugary syrup or fruit roll ups..lol.
