I agree with some of the points made. Pony-tails reveal the face - if someone has a beautiful face, why hide it behind a load of hair? Plus, they are practical and no-nonsense, which for some reason I find attractive

I've got long, thick, unruly curly hair, so when I put it up in a ponytail, it never stays up. The weight of my hair keeps dragging it down the back of my head and I think it looks stupid. So I'm not really a ponytail girl. Sometimes I'll do a braid in the back, or I'll put it up with a big jaw clip or a few of those long decorative gold hair clips and hope it stays put. Makes lying down a bit painful, though.

For swimming, I have to wet my hair down first to get a silicone swim cap over my head.

I should just shave my head and then I'd never have to worry about it
