ok, I'm a little new at these challenges, so could anyone who's done this before help out?
 
Hmm... apparently people in my team aren't all regulars. lol

Anyway, I've been having loads of water and did a bit of jogging and cardio today to make up for what I'm going to have tonight (going out for dinner but I'll try to keep it light).
I just weighed myself and I've lost 2 whole pounds since four days ago. Go me! :p

Anyway, it would be nice if you others would post once or twice too :p
 
We're a team in the October 1 Month challenge. I don't know why we're called the Gym Thrillers, we were just named that :p
I'm not sure that any of us actually go to the gym at all.

Sorry, I looked all day yesterday and half the day today for our thread. I can usually find my way around on computers but really had trouble finding you!

I havent weighed myself since Oct 1st. I was 165 at that time and am trying for 163 by weeks end.

I am leaving work at 4pm today and going to do a 3 mile run...I've also joined a running club and start that October 4th ! I'm extremely excited for that! I would LOVE to do a marathon someday.

I had a banana, granola bar, and fat free pudding for breakfast, chicken and carrots for lunch and I just had two bite size candy bars (not happy about that at all)
 
Augh, I have sinned. I had 2 chicken lollipops at dinner and some pasta. Luckily before I overdid it I asked the waiter to pack half of it to remove temptation.
I'll probably do some running after a bit.
 
one more thing

And just so everyone knows, I got rid of my home computer which means I can only post at work. I will be at work again Friday, Saturday and Sunday and hope to have good news for you all. :D
 
chicken lollipops

Never heard of a chicken lollipop...sounds interesting.

I try not to go out to eat much at all. Number one, it is expensive...and two, I find it hard to resist things....

Do you run in a gym or outside? Do you enjoy it or do you do it cuz you feel you have to? Its a great way to burn off chicken lollipops.
 
Chicken lollipops are really good, which makes forgoing them so much tougher. :p
I haven't been going out much, but this was a family function I couldn't miss, and the problem is that I haven't told anyone in my family that I'm going to lose weight.

I run indoors, mostly. I joined a club a few months ago, so I'll start swimming after my exams.
Oh, and I don't mind running much. I normally put the TV on and jog on the spot for about half an hour. It's not much but it's something. It makes me feel like I'm doing something :p
 
Its too bad some of us werent neighbors...we could run together. Working out is my passion. (unfortunately so is eating)

Good luck to you...boost up that speed a notch on the tread and forget about the chicken lollipops. I'll run an extra half a mile tonight and forget about my two mini candy bars.
 
Well I definately am not in any gym but apparantly I'm not the only one.
I decided I'm gonna walk a little after I use the computer at the library my 3 nts a week cause I can use the track at the college-2 min. away.
What is this "Under the Christmas Tree Challange?"
 
sorry I am here I was off work the last few times only time i can get on the computer till i get a motherboard for my pc

ok team mates what is a chicken lolipop?

ok now i'm like bobby brown i dont know3 how we got the name gym thriller
but most of my exercise is through a local fitness class that i may get to attend 1 time aweek due to my work scedule but i do on my own the rest of the time and i walk

So team i am thrilled you are all my team mates and lets have a good week
i dont know how we are fgoing to do the wek like end and stop but i only weigh on thursdays
but this is my goal for this month to walk 2 miles 3 to 4 times a week and drink more water i have been slacking on the water
so let me know i will be here the next 7 days at work but only from 7 am to 3:30n pm except saturday i will be working from 2 pm to 10:30 pm
 
Tomorrow we are haveing our church fall festival and we are planing on going on a hike to the top of a mountain phew i will have to keep saying i can do this i can i will be the little engine who could (lol)
 
I know it's better to weigh yourself just once a week, but I just can't help myself sometimes.
I cheated today and had a steak. God knows how many calories were in there, but I didn't have much for lunch so I hope it evens out. I'll do some exercises soon, and a bit extra tomorrow as well.
I'll be going to my grandmom's hill station hotel the day after tomorrow so I won't post for about 2 days. Luckily I'll get loads of exercise there (horseriding, swimming, long walks), and I'll make sure not to eat too much and have loads of water.
I've now decided to have at least 10-12 glasses of water per day. Is that enough?
 
They say take your weight and divide it by two and that is how many ounces of water you need but that sounds like a good measure of water enjoy your two day away and also about the steak dont deprive your self just adjust everything else so it can be allowed
 
I think each of us should create a challenge for the team and each person pick something or as many as you like and see how many you can do or how many times a week
i suggest walking 1 mile 3 times this week at least
come on gym thrillers we can do this GO!!!!!!!!!! GYM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THRILLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
