Hey Mreik! Long time no....type.
Actually Andy, I DO get to wear those pants, and the button up shirt thingy too. I'll post a picture when I get my sweet new duds. If you want to read my dream, it's on . As for weekend challenges...well the usual. Fast food and alcohol. But so far, so good. I've completely stayed away from fast food and limited alcohol to two or three drinks if we go out. Which is usually just once. If we go out twice, I just offer to be the driver. It works out well because if you offer a few times, then you pretty much get your choice when not to be the driver.
Anyway I just finished my workout. It's new, and with freeweights, and I did it at home. Sara helped me with it, and it feels good so far! I only had two ten lb dumbells, which was perfect for most exercises, but a few were too easy, so I'll have to go get some bigger ones.
Pros of working out at home:
I don't have to walk in the cold.
I can do it whenever I want.
No one is looking at me.
I don't lose my place if I stop to drink water.
Cons:
I feel like I didn't actually workout because I didn't physically go to the gym.
I'm sure I'll get over that.
Anyway here's the workout for those interested, and if anyone has suggestions on reps, please let me know, I just did 3x12 for everything. Oh and everything is at 20lbs.:
Squats
Deadlifts - too easy, more weight next time
Lying rows
Bench press - too easy
Ball crunches - had a hard time finding a good spot on the ball...looked pretty silly
Side bends
Anyway, time to get some more water, get in the shower, and get some food digested before it's time to dance the night away!
