Things are bad, they're always bad. I am worse off fitness-wise than ever, which always happens when I disappear. Actually it's usually the reason behind it. Ok things aren't that bad, I should try to stay positive. I'm in culinary school now, and I got kittens for my birthday. How's everyone else?
 
Lay off dude :) Just kidding. In fact, don't lay off at all. I went golfing today, now I'm starving and having some delicious cottage cheese with fresh mango. I got fat free cottage cheese because it was only 50 cents for the big container because it expires today. Now I can't decide if it tastes weird because it's fat free or because it might be rancid.

I did make it, and I would have told you about yesterday but the internet won't load this site sometimes. I did 30 min on the elliptical and 3x10@20 squats and deadlifts. Today I'll do upper body. It was my first time at a new gym and I was really scared to go, I kinda had to pump myself up to go inside. But everyone was really nice and nobody stared at me and giggled or called me fatty. One of the trainers even helped me do squats. He came up and was like, "mind if I help you with your form?" And I was like, please do! So he did, so that was cool.

Not surprisingly, my weight has ballooned up to the highest it's ever been, I'm not sure if I want to post it on here yet. I'll think about it.

I was out the other night and I decided that my favorite part of going out on the town is the two second blurbs of other people's drama that you catch walking down the street. You just walk along and here things like, "I can't believe you slept with him after he married your sister!" Or "And then my grandma swallowed my whole stash!" Next time I'm going to insert my own two second drama while I'm walking by other people.

Not fitness related, sorry. :)
 
Reading other people's posts about pet peeves in the gym has me worried I'm using the wrong benches for things. Which ones are for bent over rows and dumbbell bench presses? Does it matter? Is there a difference between the ones with little headrests and the ones without?

Not sure I understand what you're talking about - the ones with headrests? If it concerns you that much you don't need to use a bench for rowing, (which is particularly true if you use a cable or barbell) - and for bench pressing, a regular flat bench (that can be set to incline or decline as needed) would suffice. Not sure how the headrests enter into it.
 
The headrest may be the seat :D you could be laying on it upside down feet where head should be haha
