Got an iPhone

So, I got an iPhone. Pretty much the coolest thing I have seen. The thing is amazing.

Not much to say about it except....... WOW........ Is this thing cool!!

Your such a technology geek.

Well, my phone turns itself on and off and changes all its settings on its own and even texts people while it’s in my pocket, I bet yours doesn’t do that :p

We just got Dasha the LG Voyager since we have Verizon. Touch screen front but opens up to a full keyboard. At the end of the month I will be getting the same phone. However when looking at a full touch screen phone, theres no way I could do it. The convenience of the keyboard is a must.

Well, the fascia comes off the front of mine, it's not supposed to, but I upgraded it by banging it against a wall when I got annoyed with it turning itself on to silent and making me miss calls

Does it do that of its own or is that because the buttons get pressed by accident?
When mine goes mental you can just put it down on the table and watch it sort through the settings and files and stuff before calling my mum. I think it’s haunted by the spirit (or internal spirit as Chillen would say) of Kit

If yours takes pictures completely unaided then I want an upgrade to one of those when my contact’s up

I thought the same thing, but the keyboard function is surprisingly easy. That and I do not have the "word mash" issue I get with little keyboards.

I don't know how it does it, but it is really nice.

No, it doesn't. :D But I guess that is what you get when you get a Ty-Phone. :yelrotflmao:

You have no idea.

The cool part is, when I wake up I can reach over to the phone, check email and get work done without getting out of bed. That way, when I get to the office, all my initial communication is done. Pretty cool.

There are also a lot of things that I will use when it comes to traveling. Finding hotels and restaurants when I am out of town is a cool feature.

I had version one and upgraded to version 2.

I've liked both but both have had their pros and cons. The new one lags out with certain functions, and by lag I mean like 10 seconds of lag, and I have had a few issues with the screen blacking out and not coming back on when I hit the sleep/wake or home buttons.

Other than those few issues I do enjoy the phone. It is great to have my email right there and internet to keep my occupied during hours of construction inspection for work.

I had the error as well. I found out that if you don't update your iTunes/iStore or whatever you call it, then upgrading your iTouch/iPhone will result in an error in some case. Last update I didn't have to issue, but I hear a lot of people do.

I definitely think it's worth it. There is definitely an array of competition out there though, but nothing can quite rival the App store in terms of being able to customize your phone for free.

Does the iPhone 3G have less features or something? why is it cheaper? I don't know the differences and I want to get an iPhone. Fill me in.

i read an article, that sinceu are required to get a 2 year contract with the phone service, it'll evnetually end up costing about 100 dollars more, because u pay mroe in monthly fees.

i remember reading that, i'm not positive though

i prefer verizon over att, or cingular, or whatever they are switching their name to these days
