I love muscle is it our turn to go at it now. I respect your opinion the reason why i went off on matt guy was because he called it useless crap. The whole santa comment was just to lighten up the mood, no offense meant with that.
 
I don't understand why most threads eventually turn into an argument. It gets super old.

Korrie I agree, I just get really upset when someone post something and they only meant to share and it isnt negative, and when some guy or girl with a chip on their shoulder has to go attack it and mess it up for everyone. I mean this site is voluntary, you dont like it dont look, dont call its USELESS CRAP.....ok Korrie you are right though this is getting old. PEACE
 
WHEN DID I SAY I WAS A CHRISTIAN. I love the fact that non christians, non muslims ETC. whatever like to tell people how they should act when they themselves know nothing about the lifestyle

I was religious for 15 years of my life... "kthxbai" as they say.

And one can only assume you're Christian, because you're defending a topic about (what is inferred to be) the Christian god.

I worked in the hospital for 7 years. aids being completely gone, cancers cured, and yes some of these were cancer and aids patients for years, so the argument that maybe they never had them, is not even worth looking into.

Personal experience amounts nothing.

This is the internet. People aren't out to make you feel better, and if you post a very opinionated topic, you better be prepared to defend your BS instead of calling hate crimes and resorting to caps lock.

If no one is going to challenge bullshit, it is left unchallenged, and we continue to accept it as truth.

I find theres actually quite a bit of tention around the forum lately... now i havent been here forever to know that there hasn't always been but it seems like the last few days there have been a lot of arguments going on... maybe everyones just a little stressed over the holidays :willy_nilly:.... thats the best excuse i could come up with...

I am not arguing. I am simply stating the facts. If you can refute them, please attempt to do so.

Later stage AIDS does not spontaneously go into remission unless the diagnosis was incorrect to begin with. Please do your research.

The fact is many cancers can be cured. That's not exactly a miracle.

I know you want to believe in miracles. That's what I meant when I said their is a confirmation bias in the OP's original post. Confirmation bias simply means if you look hard enough you will find what you want to see. The ultimate result is that it taints an individual's perception and ability to remain objective.

There is no distortion in fact, Chillen. You can't pick and choose the facts you want to believe and disregard the rest to suit your fancy. Scientific analysis doesn't work that way.

The bottom line is the original post is flawed. There is no scientific evidence for any of the claims.

If X and Y look similar, people believe they are somehow related, whether they are or not. It's called the Law of Similarity. That is what has happened here. It's a confirmation bias, and bad scientific analysis, therefore, it is not rational.

Debating anything religious is pointless.

If people were willing to listen to reason and logic there would be no argument. Reason and logic has already been thrown out the window, so to continue to attempt to have an intelligent informed discussion (argument) is ridiculous.

Yep, tension could be to blame...or maybe just an extreme lack of anything else better to do.
 
You know, when i posted this, I really didn't think there would much response to it and certainly not one like this... I didn't even really take notice the reference to God, though it was there that wasn't the main gist of what i got. i love muscle is right in the fact that i didn't research any of this and though i've heard some of them in the past I dont know for 100% sure that they do what i've heard they do. It was just a forward I figured id throw in for something to do because thought was cute... mostly because walnuts really do look like little brians...:biggrinjester:

I have done my research dont throw that out and say im speaking from what I do not know. Like what I said I worked in the hospital and seen this first hand. People with Leukemia, aids gone, so your saying for years they were mis diagnosed as not having aids. Thats ridiculous. People like you are one of those people that no matter what is in front of you you will not believe it. Im glad you sit there and try to scientifically try to prove everything and so you should. BUT NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE EXPLAINED BY SCIENCE. Even Einstein one of the greatest minds of all time, believes with all his research, that to throw out the idea of an intelligent designer is just plain stupid. DO YOUR RESEARCH. Have you ever been in 3rd world countries I have, I have seen people to the point of death and healed. Like what I said I served in Iraq I have seen bullets go through a helmet and exit yet the soldier wearing it was unscathed. Believe me after studying guns, one knows if the bullet entered and where it exited. So keep trying to figure everything out with science, as you should, but I promise you you will still not get all your answers. Thats why there is FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. Things science will not be able to explain.
