Julie ~ Hey girl! What's most important is our health. Whether you lose weight slowly or quickly, it's all a road to a healthier you. I'm sure you will help us, and if not in the weight category, than with team morale. :) You've worked very hard and come weigh in day, none of us would be disappointed in you no matter what the outcome. It's great to have

By the way, I had a piece of bread, and a small serving of pizza(about the equivalent of one piece, it was cut strange) and french fries. Not good foods but I did well with portion control.
 
We are soooo great!!! Julie, you just keep up the good work and you will have the success you want. The whole point of this is to help each other stay on track, and if we all do that, then we are all winners no matter what. If you lose 1 pound or 5, the point is that you focused on the goal and you're a step closer and for that, we will all be proud.
 
Ok today I only had time for one workout. Trying to get everything ready for the trip. I ate good though and drank about 64 oz of water
breakfast- 1 cup cheerios w/ 1/2 cup 1% milk
lunch- nutrigrain cereal bar
dinner- chicken breast marinated in low fat greek dressing
1 oz cheese
1 nectarine
snack- nutrigrain bar.
Still drinking too much coffee and smoking too much, but I'm working on both.
 
I've always wanted to do stuff like this, but never had anyone to get together with. This is so great. It's the first time in many years I feel like I have friends. Damn, now I'm gonna start crying. Thanks guys :eek:
 
Aw that's so awesome girl! We're so glad to have you! You're doing awesome and it's great to be able to share with you in the weightloss journey. :) Isn't it nice to be able to have people to share your ups AND DOWNS with here? We'll always back you up, as long as you're a part of this forum. Keep rockin it!

It seems everyone is in high spirits and doing what needs to be done!!!!
I really would like our group to win those postcards.....but regardless..if we do or dont..I think these specific 2 weeks will tell us that we REALLY have it in us.....and to NEVER stop!!!!
I am not going to lie ladies.....my body is soooo tired......but my mind , emotions and determination has never been stronger!!!!.....I realize this isnt just about who can lose 5 lbs in 2 weeks....its about right choices, motivation, self discipline, and being there for another person!
Rock on with the power you possess!!!!
 
Absolutely. The true goal here is not to see who's better, but for everyone of us to not only help ourselves but to help out everyone else as well. As long as we all support one another, no matter what Group then we all win!!!
 
You guys are totally right. It's not wether we win or lose its how we play the game, and we are playing great!

well, i am doing ok, i ate 1610 cals yesterday, a little over my plan, but i was sooo hungry all day, and i did not eat any junk.

Today is going much better, and i got to the gym so i feel a lot better.

Keep up the good work girls!

Ok another good day! Wow, 3 in a row. Well, I spent 2 1/2 hours raking and throwing hay and fixing the hay ring the horses broke. Then came the running around shopping and such. But I ate good took my water with me and by my calculations, my activities today burned more than double my calories intake. I'll post my actual foods in my diary. I'm sure it gets a little boring seeing it here every day!!
I want to update my ticker soooo bad, but I don't want to let the secret out!!

I posted in another group as well, but all your efforts, help and encouragement is motivating! Just wanted ya'll to know that.

I really like sitting here reading your posts and knowing that there's a group of people here that care about helping! Sheesh, I know for long enough I've sat in my own pile not moving an inch, not thinking I could do it at all!

This may be the best 5 lb weight loss competition yet!!!!!!!
Last night at dinner, I did something I dont normaly do.......LEAVE FOOD ON THE PLATE!!!!...I listened to what my body said....and the thing is..I got full on not much food. I eat off a salad plate....( makes it seem like your getting more to eat)....I cooked cut up chicken breast in garlic, made some stir fry, and rice....I always watch my serving size/ points.....I had a nice cool glass of green tea. I ate all my veggies and rice..but I could not finish the chicken. My first thought.." I need to eat it..what if I get hungry later on??"....( I eat NOTHING after 8 pm..2 hrs before bedtime).....But I talked myself out of it and scraped the chicken onto Andreas's plate.
It felt soooo wonderful to do that....It gave me such a thrill!!!!.......And I NEVER got hungry later on.....
I have been eating at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies aday!!!!!......This is from someone who couldnt even look at the produce section with out saying .." ewwww yucky!...".....I am so proud of what I am doing to my body....and in return I know my body is thanking me......( not thanking me as fast as I would like it to mind you..lol)
This morning ..I decided not to go walk or to the gym.....my body and myself needed this morning time to sleep alittle extra and relax......But dont get me wrong....This after noon I will be doing my walk and exercise......I am not goingt to let my body, me, or ya down like that!!!!.......Exercise is my meds for the day!!!!.....
Sweat an extra 5 minutes for me.. cause Im gonna do it for ya!!!!!

That's great! It sounds like your body has adjusted to your new lifestyle. that makes it so much easier.

Okay group 2......I am about to go walk to Curves....It is 3:44pm...and around 99 degrees outside..so I am kinda dreading it.......but I want to get it over with..instead of having to walk in full blown rush hour traffic to there and back.....
My tummy is growling......ooops missed afternoon snack......let me grab my granny smith.....
 
Wow, your really kickin it! I don't see how we can loose with a team like ours!
