Get my "Before Mommyhood" body back!

Yesterday was great!

B- 2 slices of wheat bread toasted with Peanut Butter
S- Dannon light n fit smoothie
L- Grilled Chicken, tomatoes, roasted peppers over lettuce!
S- Was too busy at work to even thing about a snack!
D- Steak, wheat rice and peas
S- Hummus and wheat pita

I ran for 3 miles last night. I think I got cursed from saying I was motivated by the other people on the treadmills the night before, because I forgot socks in my gym bag! So I ran with no socks! OWW..I have a few blisters!

Tonight I'll be running errands and taking my daughter to the dentist, so dinner will be on the run. I need to be sure I make good choices for dinner!

Salad, salad, salad!! That's what I get when I have to eat on the run or have lunch with my daughter before taking her to school!

I did okay with eating during the day. I knew dinner was going to be a challenge. After running around with the kids and dentist appointments we didn't get home until 7:30 (I stopped at Burger King and got them chicken nuggets). I eneded up eating a bowl of Cherrios @ 8:00pm.

Today is new day! ;)

I had a better meal day yesterday! I keep missing the afternoon snack becuase I'm so busy in work.
I made a new recipe for Chicken sausage and Broccoli. My kids even liked it!

Last night I did my own version of HIIT. I did a short warm up and then did 4.0 jog for 1 minute and 9.0 sprint for 1 minute. I did it for 6 intervals! Each interval was tougher than the last! It really felt good!
:)

Welcome! Glad you started journalling. Did you used to run distance, or run in any races? I'm a runner, so I was just wondering.

I notice you don't really eat any fruit. Could you have a piece of fruit for an afternoon snack?

You're obviously committed to making changes and you're doing very well! Let me know if I can ever help.

Sarah

The week was filled with up's and down's but for the most part I was good! :)
Now that I'm back to work it's easier to plan out my meals and plan out my day.

Sara..you must have been in my head this week when I went grocery shopping! I agree... I don't have enough fruits! I just picked up some cantaloupe and grapes! What other choices do you recommend?
I've only done 2 races (noncompetitive.. fund raising type) but I'd like to keep doing them. I feel great after finishing!
