full body workout every other day? or each part once a week?

Well, I can see why we were working out only 1 set of muscles per week although I didn't like that much since I like working on my arms and upper body and I'd have to wait a whole week. We would work out each set of muscles from every angle for about an hour, and I would be sore for a few days. We had to switch my ab and leg days around just so I'll have more time to rest my legs.

The last couple days I've been sick so I haven't been working out on my own and I'm starting to miss the feeling I get from a good workout and think I should get back with a PT. Maybe some people don't need them, but I guess if I think I need to work with one then I should try to find another.

My only question is since I can't afford to workout with a PT every week. If I work out every other week with a PT, and work out on my own on the off weeks. Can I still get into shape?

Sure you can still get into shape.

Training partners are a great thing for motivation as well, and there is no cost. I can't stress the importance of being surrounded by the right people. If you build a good support system, things are a LOT easier.

Where do you live?

Because depending on your location you might be able
to get 5 free visits to a person a lot more accredited than a mild pt.
