I wish I could help, but I'm not an IFer! :(
On the other hand, I do "skip" a meal, probably at least once a week, and I seldom eat after seven o'clock at night, so I guess that could be seen as one version of fasting! And that does help me a lot - or the other way around - food eaten later at night seems to stay with me in the form of weight more than morning or midday food.
But different systems suit different bodies, and different social environments - "skipping" the evening meal worked for me in terms of diet, but not socially, so I have had to tailor it a bit. So I'm cheering you on, as you test things out, to find out what suits you! :)
 
Thank you! Yes it is just testing so I am not a maniac about that, but we will see :)
