Right folks sign up sign up!

Since a lot of us are struggling with motivation to get up off our backsides and get in some exercise I though maybe a challenge will keep us on our toes and we can all motivate each other to make sure we do it!

So the aim of the challenge.....get in our three exercise sessions per week. This can be anything from a 20min walk to a 5k run to an hours gym session

I was thinking the challenge can run for 6wks and at the end of this then we up our game!

Hope to see you all sign up!!!!!

My week starts tomorrow!!!!

Session 1 - Friday with a 30min run/walk
Session 2 - Saturday with an hr cycle
Session 3 - Tuesday 30 min run/walk

I'll check in after each session and let you all know how it goes :0)

Cool idea! I don't know yet whether I'll "up my game," but a challenge to exercise 3 times a week is something I totally need right now. I'm in for July!

I'll call this... prep week, and start fresh following your lead on the Sunday, the 10th. It makes more sense with my schedule and falls in with my diet-diary-turnover/check-in/etc day.

Week 1
Session 1 - Monday, July 4 - 45 minutes cardio & weights
Session 2 - Wednesday, July 6 - hour long walk
Session 3 - Friday or Saturday.

Thanks for starting this. :)

Week 1 workout one complete. Did 30 running although really it was mostly walking...it was so hard I can't believe how unfit I am lol no worries tho cos at least I got up off my ass and did something :)

WOOT! :D Keep up the good job!!!

My exercise day's going to have to be tomorrow. The day's not a waste or anything - I walked for about an hour today and took the stairs at work, but I have to go with the definition of exercise as being something over and above what you would normally do (did I read that here or on one of the fitness blogs?... nevermind...). I'll check back in in a few days.

Week One - Work Out 2
So yeah this morning i went out on my bike at 9.30am and didn't get back until 12.30 so 3hrs just cycling about. I know cycling is excercise but it's so enjoyable just cycling along it doesn't feel like it is. And it's such a nice day so it was great. Really enjoyed my workout today :0)

Hiya! Count me in!
Todays plan is to do 20-30 mins wii fit, same tomorrow and wednesday (different exercises though)
tip - go shower straight after youve done your exercise and (weather permitting) dry your hair outside with a glass of water, sounds lame! but its so refreshing that i actually look forward to doing it. Gets your vitamin D at the same time :)

This is a great idea - keep going with the hard work and determination. Just imagine how amazing you will look and feel once youve lost the weight! My weight loss inspirations are as follows

- You guys!!! Youre all doing so well!
- My Sisters - Theyre Size 10/12's and are a lot shorter than me. Im like the Khloe Kardashian of the family (not weight wise!! id kill to look like her, i meant the odd one out - im tall, almost black hair blue eyes theyre short light hair and green eyes lol)

- last but not least, a picture of me when i was 15. i was 11 stone when i was 12 years old - which is bad. But by the time i was 15 i was 5,7 and broad shouldered, i had stretched a lot and people used to badly make fun of my weight, i wore a loose fitting size 14 and i thought i must be massive, so from there i continued to pile on the pounds because i thought i was just always going to be that size and be horrible.

Nowadays, a size 14 is my dream dress size, the photo i have is of me at 15 years old was shocking for me to find, (i only found it recently,) it showed me that actually the girl in the picture was slim, healthy & pretty and all she lacked was the confidence and arrogance it took to shrug off what everyone was saying about her! I look at that picture and believe that i will get back to that size and i will flaunt it proudly, and when someone puts me down they can jog on because i know that i worked hard to be where i will be.

Sorry for the rant, but i believe we should all have a 'thin-spiration' i just wanted to share mine with you

xx

I find that it helps if others are depending on me being there. I signed my cousin, my mom and my aunt up to take my practicum classes for urban poling - so now I HAVE to be there and do it! Plus they get to benefit from it too.

Week one - workout 3!
Went out on my bike for 30mins :) not a tough workout or anything but better than sitting on my fat ass watching soaps all night.

Week One - Workout 2 - 21 mins - 200 calories

Lost 3lbs since sunday - Its working guys!!! keep the good work up!xx

I know I've already done my three workouts but I went out on my bike again today. Only for 20-30mins but as I say its better than sitting on my fat ass all night.
