Yeah but whats the point? What's so good about being able to lift lots of heavy weights?
Slig said:I know, it's a shame to. I'm so jealous of everyone who isn't lazy, works for their money, and can afford a gym membership. I'm also clouded in confusion by weights and I look for instant results and cannot see myself lifting weights in a gym to get bigger. Instead, I'll rely on the ab shocker and stacker II and never exercise a day in my life and I'll be fit to run from predators at all times.
I disagree with the premise of this thread, but I must admit that when people do stupid things, it does me mental harmBoomdoggin said:lol @ mreik I think it's a little silly to care why other people do the things they do. If they're somehow interfering with your life by going to the gym, then that's one thing. But I doubt that other people using weightlifting machines somehow encroaches on your way of life.
Can't we all just get along?

Slig was a troll. He posted this thread to get a rise out of us (which it worked), then he disappeared.
You wanna know why I go to the gym instead of working out in the "comfort" of my own home? I can't, I have a wife and 2 kids. I have tried it, I get halfway into a routine and its "Honey, will you go to the store for me?" If I say no, then I deal with her attitude all day.
