Hi guys! Another month and sadly to say I'm on a downward spiral when it comes to my weight loss
I just cant control myself with food. Cate MFP worked great the 1st couple weeks but I started to move away from it and eat junk again unfortunately.
Checker my weight last week and I'm just over 130kg. I'm actually concerned now because I've never been so heavy in my life, that's 12kg heavy than just before the 1st lockdown, but tbh with the lack of activity and amount of food I've been eating during covid I'm surprised I'm not heavier.
I've reached a crossroads and something has to change.
As a last ditch effort I've been thinking of taking meal replacement shakes for like a month? Just to get my weight and appetite under control, if I can lose some weight maybe I won't eat so much because my stomach will shrink and it'll be easier to feel full on less, just my logic which is probably completely off point but I'm running out of ideas.
Each shake is approx 250 calories and I'm to take 3 per day, they will provide all nutrients I need for the meal but with minimal calories. I feel like I can manage my food consumption and cravings better if I take it out if the equation entirely, just until I can get my appetite and cravings under control, and lose a few lbs.
Any thoughts on if this could be a necessary quick fix for now? Or is it too extreme?
