Favourite Weight Loss Food?

i love this whether i'm trying to eat healthy or not. but you have to follow the directions for ideal consistency:

take 1 cup frozen blueberries (80 cal) and mix with 1/2 cup of Source yogurt (40 cal). I love the coconut+pineapple yogurt myself.

let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.

because the berries are so cold, the yogurt will freeze to them and the berries will thaw a bit, becoming a bit sweeter.

eat like ice cream.

except the same amount of ice cream would have 375 cal or so instead of 120, and wouldn't provide you with nearly the nutritional value.

That sounds good. Thanks for the recipe! :D

In the past month...

What food item did you eat most often?
Beginning May 31 I started eating oatmeal almost every morning. Most of the time I dice up a couple frozen strawberries real small & add those.
I'm excited for the peaches on my tree to finish maturing... will be adding a little peach to the oatmeal then :)

What food item did you eat the most of?
Probably a toss-up between the oatmeal or boneless/skinless chicken breast.
Love it grilled or baked & use it for everything... ground up & used in place of beef sometimes... fajita meat... narrow slices on my salads, etc

What is your favourite diet food and why?
I don't consider that I am on a diet, simply lifestyle changes & eat much smaller portions. But if I had to pick a "diet food" I guess I'd say carrot sticks or salad. Fresh peaches will probably replace these items as a "fav" as soon as they are ready to pick LOL

When craving a treat that's a little sweet I crush ice in the blender & add frozen strawberries & make an "icee"
(not only allows a "treat", but the cold sure helps cool off in the Texas summer temps LOL)

What food item did you eat most often?
It's a toss up between apples and carrots because I eat both every day.

What food item did you eat the most of?
I'd say water, but I drink that, not eat it. So I'll go with carrots.

What is your favourite diet food and why?
Cream cheese. I use it as a dip for my carrots. It's so good. I have about 10 baby carrots with 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, and it's a tasty medium-calorie snack (about 135 calories) that is a little more fun than just straight carrots. Oooh, and clementines. <3

What food item did you eat most often? Eggs! I go through about a dozen a day if not more. It actually depresses me a bit because I pay $5.99 a dozen and I chunk ALL the yolks :(

What food item did you eat the most of? Eggs! I have roughly 200 recipes of different egg dishes, and I add them into almost everything. Muffins, Cookies, Pancakes, Chili, you name it.

What is your favourite diet food and why? Well I don't eat diet food perse but my favorite thing to eat currently is my vermicelli dish that I make.

Whoa! Where on earth are you buying your eggs!? I pay $1.29 for a dozen where I live.

I know! I actually think quite differently about food than most people! I have a close relationship with it I guess you can say. I buy only eggs that are from pastured chickens (better than free range) and I buy them from a farm that I have actually been to and have spoken directly with the farmers. This farm that I buy my eggs from (well I buy them from Whole Foods) also makes the organic feed that they in turn and sell to my chicken and beef ranch where I buy all my meat from. If I buy his eggs then he is able to produce more of the organic feed to sell for my organic and grass fed beef and chicken.

I only eat food that I can trace back to where it comes from. To the actual farm.

Wow, that's pretty cool! Do you do that for environmental reasons, health reasons, or is it more like Orthorexia? Have you seen the documentary "No Impact Man"? If it's for environmental reasons I think you'd really enjoy that documentary. :)
