Fat Loss for Idiots- 11 day diet

Thanks for the support

Thx for deleting my post mods....

Suceeding on this 'diet' = Gain the weight back, not to mention you wont lose any weight if you can pig out 3 days in a row AND there's a thread on this already.

Not succeding on this diet = Hopefully move on to something thats healthy and works; healthy diet and exercise.

Don't take this as an insult. Take it as cold good advice.

As you were told, theres a difference between knocking a person and knocking a diet.

I did not knock the person. I stated I hope she fails her quest to do that particular diet....Which was made even clearer by my statement that things would get worse a couple weeks AFTER the diet....So it's all apparently about the diet, not the person. Good day.

hey new bride, i noticed on your posts that you have done a 20lb club. I would love to do something like what. Are you involved or do you know where i can get into something like that?

I am on this diet to mlucky. It is incredible. Lost 9 pounds in 9 days so far. (253 - 244). If you follow every rule that they have, eat exactly what they tell you, and drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, it will work.

What happens once you lose enough weight and you stop doing EVERYTHING they say?? Yes, you get fat again.

Thanks for sharing your experience Jared

so you did the walking instead of any other kind of exercise? I hav ebeen trying to run but it isnt as steady as walking.

i sometimes substitue deli meats for other deli meats. Do you think that is ok?

Depending on what your eating habits were prior - ANY dietary change you made could account for that fat loss -doesn't mean that it will keep up or even stay off...

there's no magic about this diet - it's low calorie - and not sustainable long term..

Spend some time reading the informative posts in this forum and get some suggestions for long term success..

Hey Jared, i was wondering... How many cycles have you completed so far?
Had you just finished your first recently?
Did you gain any weight during the cheat days?
Also, if you have done more than one cycle, what has been your progress.
Thankx for the info!

If you haven't tried it, please dont talk. I feel great everday, and always get enough to eat. I could easily could do this diet for a long time. Although, the 11 day diet isn't actually intended to be long term, they have a different program for long term loss. The difference is I just need to lose a little weight for football, so therefore I chose the very strict diet, it is not for people with a weak will.

I am in football and need to maintain muscle mass so I do a resistance training program, but I also do walking. Walk just fast enough so that you need to breath a little harder than normal.

You realize you can eat the meals in order you want right? But, yes I sometimes switch my meats for other ones also. Like one time I was out of turkey so I ate ham. I don't think it makes a difference.

I am on the 10th day of my first cycle. I have lost 9 lbs. I haven't done the cheat days yet, but I assume if you eat a crapload of food then you will gain weight. Its all about eating until you are satisfied and no more.

Im not on this site everyday, so if you would like more info or have questions about it, you can add my email. Send me a private message if you want my email. I usually get on msn messenger every night around 9 or 10 so you can talk to me on there or just send me an email.

Wow thanks for all the info. I'm scared to take those cheat days. I have heard of people that just skipped it. I wonder if it can be shortened at all.

This is very funny. Mal said its not sustainable and you knock her for it. Then you admit that this is not a long term diet. Thinking that eating walnut and ham all day has some magical effect that makes your lose weight is just plain wrong. It is low cal and thats why you lose weight. now how much of that is actually fat, I don't know, but diets that are advertised at 1 day, 2 day, 3 day.....11 days are usually counting on the fact that you will lose water weight at the begining of your diet. All and all, I hope you lose the weight you want and are able to maintain it. But realize that this is just a fad diet.

and it takes alot of will power for people to commit to a sensible diet. They don't give into the temptation of quick weight loss.

5th day, feeling great

Its day 5 and I've gotta say, i havent weighed in yet but i do have a lot more energy and i feel great. Sometimes i get a little hungry but its usually cuz i dont eat enough at each meal or i wait way too long to eat due to my schedule.
I had tapered off the exercise a bunch, but being on this diet really got me motivated to get back out there.
I dont believe i am malnurishing myself as one would on fad diets. I feel that this is a great way to keep yourself satiated and still lose weight. I can see myself doing it this diet long term and then eating right while still following the 4 meal a day plan, eat till ur 70% full.
I just wish we would get less critics who havent tried it. I would love to hear from those who had sucess/failure on the diet, but for those who have never tried it, i dont really know why you care to participate in this thread unless u want to find out more about it.
