Fat burners ??? Are they really worth a try??

Fat burners will KILL YOU! Please be careful with them!!!! THe most I would use is caffeine pills but nothing more than that!! just make it a habit to exercise daily and the weight will come off

you aren't JUST trying to 'go on a diet' are you?

you know taht doesn't work...right?

Know why? because you didn't 'go on a binge' to gain the fat. your whole lifestyle lead you to be overweight, and nothing short of a change to your lifestyle is gonna get rid of that weight

I read a book by Mike Geary a while back and he said something that was kind of funny to me.

"When people say 'im going on a diet' it makes me laugh. What where you doing before that, not eating? A diet is what we eat on a daily basis. Weather it be a diet high in protein, carbs or whatever. You really cant 'go on a diet' you can only make changes to your diet"

Its quite irrelevant but this thread made me think of it

I used to take Xenadrine when it first came out with Ephedra.

It worked as advertise BUT I will NEVER touch ephedra again. I am not sure what triggered my migraine, maybe it was the diet supplement or not. If you ever suffer from migraine that casued you to curl up into a little baby, then you know what I mean. After several years of avoiding all caffeiene product and what not, I can drink coffee and tea again with migraine. Like I said, not sure what triggered it but the ephedra probably help caused the migraine (I do not have any scientific fact to back this claim up, just my experience).

In the end, AVOID EPHEDRA. There are reasons why the NFL and most sports have banned that substance. Think about it.... Ephedra is bad news, its like taking speed. It did give me tons of energy though!!!

Thats pretty much the same story with all of those fat burners.

Hydroxide Cut and HC Hardcore: Soaring blood pressure, made me pee a whole lot. Headaches.

Atro-plex: Nastiest headaches you have EVER felt that came on while working out

Those are the 2 that i unfortunately tried

Weight loss is not something that you can purchase in a bottle. If it was, we would all eat what we want and take a couple of pills, to have our wonderful body that we imagine.

I haven't been hanging around here too long, but I've learned a few things, first is how little I know about my body and how it works, second there are some people that post here that are quite knowledgeable about stuff concerning what I need to know. After reading a few posts by Chillen, I've realized that you probably want to pay attention when this person speaks. Their information is based in fact and their logic is sound, in other words there is some information there that will be helpful, either now or at some point in the future.

The body of your dreams can't be purchased, you have to work for it, with blood, sweat, tears, but most importantly knowledge. Learn the correct way to lose weight and save your money for when you are old and grey like me. Life never stops until you take a dirt nap, and it's just more fun the older you get.

Will this shed fat all over the body???

YES!!!

What you are probably thinking about is called 'spot reducing,' meaning that if you workout a specific portion of your body, that portion alone will experience fat loss and increased muscle. That is simply not true. In reality, your body will make and reduce body fat all over the body.

mainline crystal meth.... that is a really good fat burner. And if you can stay with it long enough your skin will rot off too.... not to mention the long term dental effects... WIN WIN WIN all around.

hehehehee
