Cohen's Lifestyle Exercise on programme

Prefix for Cohen's Lifestyle
Re: Netski (also)

Hi Netski

Congratulations on your achievements so far - fantastic and very inspirational!

I just had a quick question with regard to you returning to the program for your last 6kg. Did you need to sign up again (and pay) or are you just following your previous eating plan? Also, are you going to include a re-feed period as well?

Thanks very much.
Monz

PS - Thanks everyone for your views and advice on the exercise on the program

Life after cohens and food

Hey guys,

Well firstlyto answer some questions, no i didn't have to pay again-in actual fact i am still in contract time. I lost my weight quite quickly and with very predictable and regular weeks. I did refeed at 64 because i was studiply hungry and given my very active lifestyle my consultant suggested i go about it that way even though i was 2kg away from my ideal weight. Since september last year i have kept stable with only 1kg fluctuations which was monitored and controlled.
I'm following my previous program and as recommended i'll be doing the refeed once more too. Any period on cohens longer than 2 weeks needs to be done with a subsquent refeed

The portions given on at the end of the refeed you end up eating more than 2 times what you have now- its a huge amount and more than enough to accomodate an active lifestyle. As i've mentioned before i exercise every day and although i have felt light headed in the past- i did before i was on cohens because i tend to push myself quite hard

I've decided to bet to the bottom end of my weight range purely for vanity reasons.

I found keeping my weight low easy - i just remind myself of how happy i am in my size 8's and 10's. I have also chosen a gluten free and carb free lifestyle for myself and my husband is the same we find that we feel better with out it.

I ate cohens most day(not now while i'm back on the program in on it 100%)and follow the guidelines which i've posted on another post- it's titled guide lines

hope this helps:D

Hi Netski

How long is your contract for and who choose's the contract time.
I was told intially by a consultant from another clinic that it was a 12 week contract after that period if you had not lost your weight you would need to negotiate with your consultant.

My consultant reckons I should be at my ideal weight within 12 weeks, so what about those who have more to lose or I am not at my ideal weight by then.

Another question for you if you (god forebid ) put on the weight again can you still use the same programme or do you have pay and join again and have new blood test etc etc?

Sorry to put this on you but you have been their before and us newbies are still learning.

Thanks

Sam:)

Sam

Everyone's contract is different depending on how much weight you need to loose and i imagine your blood test results too.Its determined by Dr. Cohen. I'm pretty sure if you havnt deviated but you are just a slow loser then you can still continue with the prgam . Your consultant wont leave you high and dry

If heaven forbid you put on weight down the track they recommend you need new blood work and a new program. As you blood chemisrty can change..

The idea is that you lose your weight, do the refeed and then stick to the guidlines to maintain your weight( i've posted those guidelines on a thread called guide lines)
And then never ever ever ever ever need to diet again. you are doing great!!! Keep up the brillaint work

Thanks Netski

Well done to you too.

Sam
